Shepherd of London 12 bore side/side hammer shotgun, 29.5" barrels, 3/4 and 1/2 choke, rotary underlever, locks engraved with hunting dogs, straight handed 14" stock with spare fore-stock. No visible Serial No. SHOTGUN CERTIFICATE REQUIRED CONDITION REPORT: There is pitting to both barrels more so the right hand one although there is nothing there that is particularly deep. There is a dent 2 inches from the muzzle. Other than this the barrels seem to be quite sound and have a good ring to them. The loop has been repaired at some point and the gun is tight at the face. The rib has also been re-laid. Both lock springs are in good order and generally the timber to the stock is in fair condition for the age but would need to be re chequered. The fore end timber has been split and glued badly. However there is a spare fore end timber with this gun. Overall I would say it is in shootable condition and an interesting project gun.
