W Horton (Glasgow) 12 bore side by side shotgun, with 30" nitro proof barrels, quarter and half choke, 2 1/2" chambers, the barrels marked to the rib "New barrels fitted by James Kirk Ltd Ayr", the locks and hammers with acanthus scroll engraving and the locks also marked W Horton, with Jones rotary underlever and fitted with a 14 1/4" lop straight hand stock. No visible serial number. SHOTGUN CERTIFICATE REQUIRED.

NOTE: Charles and Herbert Weston were from 7 New Road Brighton Sussex from 1867, see British Gunmakers by Nigel Brown volume 3 page 226. Sold as section 58 obsolete calibre. Serial No. 4378.
