Brown Westhead & Moore - Cauldon - A set of four trio sets of gilt and cobalt blue tea cups and saucers. Each cup having foliate gilt swag to inner bowl, with matching decorations on cobalt ground to outside. Each cup with a rope twist handle around the foot of the cup. Saucers matching. Trio sets comprising four cups, four saucers & four cake plates. The cup measures 5.5cm tall x 11cm in diameter including the handle, the saucer measures approx. 14cm in diameter, the cake plate / serving plate measure approx. 17.5cm in diameter.

Heraldic book plate of Louis De Givenchy. Lacking title page, blind stamp to upper right hand corner, each plate complete with tissue guard. Containing 62 engraved anatomical plates; collated 7, 1, 14, 8, 5, 27 and appearing complete. Measures approx. 56cm x 72cm.

Each plate with a printed Library stamp from the Societe d'Encouragement Pour L'Industrie Nationale. This collection with a total of 24 plates, from No.133-156, measuring approx. 44cm x 31cm.

Each printed by Le Mercier, Benard et Cie from the Library of Le Societe D'encouragement pour L'industrie Nationale. (2.25c.) diameter - possibly made for an exhibition house popular in Britain in the first quarter of the 20th century, similar to Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House
Interesting and rare English Provincial astronomical oak longcase clock, the triangular form brass dial with three subsidiary silvered dials at the top for seconds, minutes and hours, all with blued steel hands, the lower section of the dial with an aperture revealing days of the week over a large stationary dial engraved with the following calendrical indications: Date, Month, Zodiac Date, Zodiac Sign, Sun's Declination, Degrees and Minutes for five-day intervals all indicated by a rotating index arm engraved Sun's Index attached to a silvered lunar disc engraved with the following lunar indications: The Moon's Time, The Moon's Age, Hour Scale, Time of the Moon's Zenith, the dial plate is also engraved with flowering trees and foliage; the impressive movement has shaped brass plates conjoined by six baluster pillars, all of the wheels have six crossings, the going train has a large recoil escapement with indirect wind through the dial, the remainder of the wheel train drives the calendar indication and comprises five large wheels with six crossings taking the drive from the great wheel pinion of the going train; the formerly ebonised oak case with long door over a standard base, surmounted by a sliding tapered hood under a plain cornice, 76" high (pendulum with cylindrical ebonised rod and brass bob, single brass cased weight)
