A Royal Albert 'Old Country Roses' bone china tea service comprising:a large teapot (20 cm high);eight side plates;seven cups and saucers ( and 1 spare saucer);two 26 cm circular cake plates (one two-handled);a pair of boat-shaped dishes;a cream jug.Condition Report: Very good overall condition with no problems noted or cracks, chips or restorations. Dirty and dusty in places. Gilding and decoration bright.
A large and extensive early 19th century Spode tea service, each piece decorated in enamels with pink roses, painted red Spode marks to underside and pattern number 3886, comprising:teapot and cover,two-handled lidded sucrier,cream jug,three octagonal plates (2 x 21.5cm x 1 17.5cm)ten large and nine small cups (and ten saucers),(25 pieces excluding lids and saucers)Condition Report: As followsTeapot and cover - there are three hairlines prevalent emanating from the inside of the lip (where the lid sits upon), spout is OK, the handle OK too, the cover has two small pinhead (one double-sized pinhead) chips to the underside of the cover. The final as a bud as worn gilding.Two cake plates with re-entrant corners - in reasonable condition although some gilding has been rubbed and some surface scratches are noted.Two handled, lidded sucrier - has a small firing crack (1cm) to the inside, handles are OK, some gilt rubbing, the cover appears OK but also with rubbing and two small firing cracks to the underside.Milk and cream jug - appears in good condition, with no problems to the handle, foot looks good.Saucers/dishes - red painted marks underside '3886' patter,. All appear in good condition, one has a tiny matchhead-sized chip to the foot, some gilt rubbing throughout.Larger cups - some rubbing mostly on the inside of the bottom well and on the outside of a few. Handles all appear intact, one handle moved slightly during the firing process.Smaller cups (9) - generally in good order with some gilt rubbing. One smaller cup has a handle slightly moved during the firing process. Gilding good on the whole. Excellent painting of the pink roses. handles and feet good.

A selection of various ceramics to include a part tea/dessert service, hand-gilded and decorated in enamels with roses, various other plates and associated waresCondition Report: The large teapot is dirty and has a matchhead-sized chip on the rim near the cover. The cover is discoloured, the spout and handle appear OK. Two-handled sugar bow - two minor nibbles and chips to the inside of the lip. Throughout the pieces some of the gilding is a little bit worn. Large Limoges circular platter has been poorly restored with a 10cm affected area. Some minor chips on a few more pieces but otherwise in good overall general original condition.

A 19th century part tea service hand-gilded and decorated in enamels with floral sprays: 2 x 25 cm cake plates; a slop bowl on stand; 4 x tea and 6 x coffee cups (8 saucers); a cream jug.Condition Report: The two cake plates are in good condition - no problems noted. The sugar stand is in good order also the sugar bowl itself also good with the gilding still bright but with a four point star crack to the bottom of the underside. The cream jug looks good. The saucers all appear without problems, a tiny pinhead size chip away to the underside of one foot rim. Four larger cups - one has a handle away and reaffixed, the remaining three are without issue. The six coffee cups - all appear OK with bright gilding and good enamelling.
