Comprising large stand decorated with deer, a blue and white floral plate, another floral plate, a large 19th Century bowl with a dragon to the centre and butterflies and flowers, the frieze with figures and animal pulling a cart, blue floral seal mark within double blue circle, a scenic plate, a small Qing style yellow enamelled bowl with dragon to the frieze, puce printed seal mark, another small bowl decorated with a five clawed dragon in iron red chasing a flaming pearl on a blue ground, blue six character Yongzheng mark, a handled-dish and two teapots and covers. Stand: 26 cm wide, plates 23 cm wide. (10)From the estate of the late Norman Walmsley. Condition: Bowl broken in half, one plate rivetted, one teapot wit associated lid and the other teapot with damage to spout and handle.

Grosz, George. Ecce Homo, [Berlin: Der Malik-verlag, c.1923], ten colour prints [of 16], offset lithographs on wove paper, unpaginated, in publisher's wrap-around folder. This publication was banned by the German government, and Grosz was prosecuted for causing public offence. Weimar Republic. This is presumably Edition B II, which included the 16 reproductions of watercolours only, unsigned, in paper portfolio; the total number published unknown. The work has been described as 'an unsparing vision of human nakedness, lust, greed and cruelty'. The plates are good, clean, bright, with vibrant colours; a couple of nicks at the edges, a couple of marks in the margins; the paper folder has some light dampstaining and spotting
