A George III oak cupboard on chest, the top half with moulded cornice above a pair of arched doors enclosing shelves, the base fitted with two short and three long graduated drawers with brass swans neck drop handles with shaped back plates and brass lock escutcheons, the whole raised on bracket feet. Height 202 cm, width 105.5 cm, depth 54 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The cupboard is in generally extremely good condition. It is structurally very sound. There are a few very minor blemishes but no significant losses. The cupboard doors both close as they should. They are not warped. We have the locks and keys. All drawer fronts are in good condition. All locks are present. We do not have the keys for the drawer locks. None are actually locked. The handles are old but later replacements. The piece will originally have had wooden knob handles as per the doors. The bracket feet are in good condition. The backboards are original. There is no evidence of any woodworm.

An 18th century oak side table, with two plank top and fitted with two frieze drawers with brass drop handles and shaped back plates, raised on tapered legs of square section. Height 22 cm, width 100 cm, depth 59 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally very sound. The top is made from two planks. There is a shrinkage gap between the two planks of +/- 2 mm. The top is flat. It is not significantly stained. The drawers both run smoothly. The handles are in good order. There do not appear to be any further handle holes so they well be original. The legs are all in good order with no repairs. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
An early 19th century mahogany bowfronted chest of drawers, three short over three long with brass drop handles and oval back plates, with shaped apron below and raised on bracket feet. Width 120 cm, height 106 cm, depth 65.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The chest is in extremely good order. It is structurally sound. The top has no issues. The moulded edge is in good order all round. The sides are of good colour and have significant issues. The drawer fronts are all in good order with no significant issues. The handles to all drawers bar the centre drawer are replacements but have age. There is no evidence of any further handle holes when viewed from the front. The shaped apron is in good order. The bracket feet are in good condition also with only minor old stress fractures and minor veneer repairs and nibbles. The backboards are original. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A collection of Cantonese plates and dishes. Ten 21 cm plates and 4 dishes (various). CONDITION REPORT: Thirteen of the dishes all appear to have originated from the same service. They are all 20th century with one worded to back “Made in China”. These dishes are all in a fairly good condition with only minor decoration loss in places. The other two dishes in this lot are two circular bowls with serrated edges, these appear to be 19th century, both have gilding and enamelling wear and loss to the decoration. In addition the larger bowl is chipped to the rim.
An early 19th century mahogany satinwood banded bow fronted chest of drawers, two short and three long with brass drop handles with oval back plates and raised on splayed bracket feet. Width 113 cm, height 109 cm, depth 53 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chest of drawers is structurally sound. The top is of good colour with no significant splits or marks. The left hand side of the satinwood banding has slight lifting in one place and there are some minor old stress fractures. The edge beading has minor losses to the returns. The drawer fronts are in generally good order. Long drawers two and three have cockbeading missing to the right hand sides. All locks are present. There are some minor timber losses to the left and right front facing side uprights particularly where the drawer runners join the carcass. This should be visible on our images. The sides of the chest are in generally good condition with the usual slight polish deterioration, minor scuffs and old stress fractures. The bracket feet are all present and original but do have some veneer nibbles particularly to the sharp edges. The handles are not original.
Three late 18th/early 19th century Chinese plates, one Imari and two decorated with chrysanthemum, fence and buildings. Each diameter 23 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The Imari palette plate has a small flake chip to the rim, but otherwise appears to be in good order. The plate with flowers and trellis design to centre has some loss to the enamelled decoration to centre the third plate with a view of buildings and mountains to centre again has some loss to the enamel decoration to centre, but otherwise is in a good condition.The Amari palette plate has a small flake chip to the rim, but otherwise appears to be in good order. A 19th century Gaudy Welsh part tea service, comprising teapot, sugar basin, milk jug, bowl, 9 cups, 9 saucers and 3 plates (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The teapot has a hairline crack to one side of the lid loop handle. The teapot itself has a firing mark to the main body behind the spout. It also has a chip to the rear bottom corner of the handle. The two square plates are not damaged but are a little yellowed. The large basin has been broken into several pieces and repaired. The shaped plate although not damaged is yellowed. One tea cup has a broken handle. All remaining pieces are in good order with no issues.
A group of late 19th century gilded and enamelled Meissen porcelain, comprising three cabinet plates. Largest 27 cm and two porcelain trios (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: All pieces in this lot are in extremely good condition with no issues. There are no chips, no damage, no hairline cracks and no restoration. The large blue and red plates are first quality. All of the remaining pieces are second quality.

Full leather, spine lacks portion above first band, browning to edge of plates, some staining to text.
A Spode Copelands China cabinet plate, painted with a rural scene, signed "Benn", diameter 26.5 cm, and a Royal Doulton cabinet plate painted with Inverlochy Castle by Hart. CONDITION REPORT: Both plates are in extremely good order with no evidence of any damage, no repairs and no restoration. There are no chips or cracks. The gilding is in very good order on both plates.
An Adderley Ware tea service, 12 cups, 12 saucers, 12 plates, 2 sandwich plates and a basin, with green band and handpainted floral sprays. CONDITION REPORT: One cup has a 1.5 cm hairline crack. One saucer has been broken and glued together. Other than this all pieces are in very good order with only very minor signs of use.
A Royal Worcester dessert service, handpainted with birds by Johnson, including pheasant, plover, grouse, partridge, capercaillie, etc., some with blue printed marks others puce, all signed. Each diameter 23.5 cm. (12) (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The black grouse plate has an under edge chip. This is not visible from the top. The same plate has minor paint losses. The Red Grouse plate has a very small under edge chip. There is also a loss to the paint to the left of the large grouse. All other plates are in good condition and free from any damage, repairs or restoration. There are some minor paint losses to some of the plates, the worst affected being the snipe plate and plover. The condition is generally very good.
A collection of 19th century blue and white wares, including Spodes Newstone plate with bird and grasshopper pattern, circa 1805-20, diameter 24 cm, a Davenport blue and white landscape patterned plate, 2 sauce boats and a ladle. CONDITION REPORT: The three plates are in generally good condition with no chips or cracks. There are no edge nibbles. There is no significant crazing. The ladle is in good order with no issues. The larger of the two sauce boats is structurally sound but is discoloured and crazed. There are some very slight nibbles to the top edge glaze. The small sauce boat is in good order with no issues.
Five 19th century spongeware plates, three large and two small. Largest diameter 22.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: All items in this lot are free from any chips, repairs or restoration. The two small plates are generally very clean. The three larger plates are all somewhat discoloured and show signs of glaze crazing. There are n=however no visible hairline cracks or any significant condition issues other than the crazing and minor losses to the paintwork.
A collection of Royal Crown Derby Imari pattern No. 2451 tea and coffee wares comprising twelve teacups and saucers, ten coffee cans and saucers, milk jug and sugar basin, six tea plates, six side plates and a cake plate, together with an oval lobed plate, similarly decorated, bears Registration No. 710700 to base CONDITION REPORTS All pieces appear in good condition - arguably with some minor scratching to the gilding conducive with age and use.

Auguste Lançon (French 1836-1885), etchings from Franco-Prussian War dated August 1870-January 1871, titled and signed in the plate, a folio with 32 sheets in total, sheet sizes 40 x 55 cm, various sized plates 14 x 18 cm, 22 x 34 cm and 18 x 25 cm. (32)Auguste Lançon was a French artist known for his etchings of military scenes and animals. During the Franco-Prussian war 1870-1871 he was a sargeant of a batallion and was captured, spending six months as a prisoner of war. He created a series of 70 etchings based on his experience of the conflict and exposing the horrors of armed conflict.
