PARAVENTO A SEI ANTE Giappone, periodo Edo, XVIII-XIX secolo - A SIX PANEL SCREEN Japan, Edo period, 18th-19th century Scheletro in legno e cornice in seta, dipinto a inchiostro e colori tenui su carta, la scena descrive un paesaggio. Nella fascia inferiore della composizione, sulla destra, si vede una modesta abitazione, nei pressi della quale alcune figure maschili in festa bevono sake da un grande barile e danzano al ritmo di un tamburo. Sulla sinistra un convitato si allontana sul dorso di un mulo, rincorso inutilmente da alcuni dei partecipanti. 171 x 384 cm Questo paravento mostra caratteri stilistici propri della Scuola Unkoku che nel periodo Edo continuò a produrre dipinti nello stile del fondatore Unkoku Tõgan (1547-1618). - The structure is in wood and frame in silk. Painted in ink and soft colours on paper. The subject is a landscape. In the lower part of the composition, on the right, there is a model dwelling, near which some male figures are celebrating by drinking sake from a large keg and dancing to the rhythm of a drum. On the left a guest leaves on a mule, pursued futilely by some of the participants. 67.32 x 151 in. This screen has some of the stylistic characteristics of the Unkoku School, which during the Edo period continued to produce paintings in the style of the founder Unkoku Tõgan (1547-1618). € 1200
