Provence Moulage - MPH Models - # 721 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model DB Panhard Le Mans car from 1961. This car number 45 driven by Moynet / Vidilles with its 848 cc air cooled engine was the lightest car in the race weighing just 440 kgs. Tim Dyke made 87 detail improvements to the original Provence Moulage kit to create this model, the changes include internal bulkheads fitting and the dash being remade to have the correct number of holes in the correct diameter and panel lines being filled in and re scribed in the correct places. The attention to detail is a joy. Tim Dyke made 166 improvements to the original model kit to create this superb replica of the car that Ninian Sanderson and Peter Bolton drove to 7th place and a class win in that years race. Starter Models - MPH Models - # 692 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model of the 1959 Le Mans winning Aston Martin DBR1. Tim Dyke made 186 modifications to the original kit to bring it up to this standard. His modifications include re shaping the bonnet to give the correct profile, new rear cockpit bulkhead created and a new custom made detailed dashboard and much more. Tim Dyke carried out 51 detail improvements to the original kit model to create this highly detailed example. Amongst the changes made were a new three piece laminated steering wheel and steering column created and painted, brake drums created and the windscreen corrected for shape and rake. Dinky Toys - A very unusual version of Dinky Toys #361 Space Battle Cruiser. The model features a black body, white wings and base, red thrusters, with white tipped 'Trygon' missiles with one red decal to each missile. The ship is piloted by a red Astronaut figure and features a blue / grey canopy and engine cover. The model is adorned in a variety of decals. Vroom - MPH Models - # 572 - A boxed 1:43 scale resin model Bizzarini Iso Grifo A3C Le Mans 1964 as driven by Edgar Berney and Pierre Noblet. The original Vroom model went through 109 detail improvements by Tim Dyke to achieve the quality shown here including rear windscreen frame created and foil covered, pin marked rivet detail to the bonnet, roof, doors and sills, approx 1000 in total and specially turned aluminium wheels fitted. The bug deflector screen is flat against the bonnet when it should be at right angles but the car otherwise appears Mint in a Vroom box with a printed history and list of works carried out, also comes with a signed card to show that its car number 2 of 25 made in February 1992. Dinky Toys - A rare pre -production and unboxed Dinky Toys #113 'The New Avengers' John Steed's Jaguar XJ5.3C. The model in metallic green / blue body with gold stripe, has a black interior and black plastic base, featuring chrome plated detailed wheels. The figure contains a plastic 'John Steed' figure in driving seat, and also has the added benefit of coming with a loose plastic 'Criminal' figure which was featured in the last Dinky Toys catalogue in 1978 (p13), and has some paint loss to trousers. The model has some signs of play with some small marks and chips over body, with scuffs marks on windscreen, but generally appears to be in Very Good condition overall. Starter, MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed Starter / MPH Models #747 Mercedes 300SL Le Mans 1955 J.M Fangio / S.Moss - Withdrawn Whilst Leading. This 1:43 Starter resin and alloy kit was modified by Tim Dyke in January 1993, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 2 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. The model in silver with RN19 contains a myriad of 207 detailed modifications which include "Aero screens - cowling narrowed, flattened, flange thickness reduced"; "Air brake - rams cut from s/s pins (de-burred)"; "Fire extinguisher - cast metal, hand polished"; "Exhaust - silencer box reshaped, dam pipes discarded and replaced with aluminium tubes" plus many many more outstanding details, many only visible very close examination. The model is marked to the underside 'Starter Mercedes 300SL Made in France and also features the MPH Models logo. Housed in a plain white MPH cardboard box which appears Mint, the model also contains documentation which tells of the history behind the actual vehicle, as well a list of the remarkable modifications made by Tim Dyke., and comes with a photo etched plaque contained in a clear plastic snap bag. MPH Models, Tim Dyke - A boxed MPH Models #1266 1:43 scale resin and alloy Ferrari TRi 330LM Le Mans Winner 1962 O.Gendebien / P.Hill 2765.58 miles at 115.24 mph. The model was created by the renowned modeler Tim Dyke in April 2000, and is a Limited Edition model numbered 21 of only 25 produced, and comes with hand signed certificate / card. hTe model in the traditional Ferrari 'rosso corso' appears in Mint condition with some dust / mildew around tyres, and features the RN6. With 251 detailed special features including "Headlamps - kit units discarded, body countersunk to accept lenses, MV lenses fitted"; "External mirror - moulded on unit removed, reshaped dowelled, lens recess carved in"; "MPH Etching for gear gate" plus many more fantastic details - some only visible under close scrutiny.
