A Staffordshire model of St George slaying the dragon, of Ralph Wood type, the Saint dressed as a Roman centurion, all decorated with green, yellow and brown glazes, c.1780-1800 27cm. Cf. Williams and Halfpenny, A Passion for Pottery, No.209 for a similar example. Some good restoration.

`Corgi': a rare Royal Doulton model modelled as a bitch, standing four square green printed factory mark 13cm. high This and the following four lots were the property of Kathleen Lewis, whose husband worked as an architect for Royal Doulton during the 1930's.. She owned a corgi bitch named `Suki' and he commissioned this model for her.. (The model was usually produced as a dog.)
A rare white and black painted cafe chair, designed by Josef Hoffmann for Thonet, circa 1906 painted wood, the seat and back covered in red leather underside stamped 'Thonet' 76cm. high This chair is a rare surviving example with its original black and white paint of the model which Hoffmann designed for the Cafe Fledermaus W.
