A wooden scale model of 'Cutty Sark' by Ceuneau Marine of Mauritius, the three masted ship with sails furled and with the Red Ensign flying above the stern, 76cm (30 in) high Other Notes: Cutty Sark is a British clipper ship. Built on the River Clyde in 1869 for the Jock Willis Shipping Line, she was one of the last tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest, coming at the end of a long period of design development, which halted as sailing ships gave way to steam propulsion. Ceuneau Marine was founded in 1990.
A late 19th century mahogany half model of the hull of HMS Endymion, the backing board 143 x 29cm (56.25 x 11.5 in) Other Notes: Notes: HMS Endymion was a 21-gun Ister-class wooden screw frigate, the third of four ships of this name to serve in the Royal Navy. She was the last wooden frigate built at Deptford Dockyard. She was commissioned in 1866 and spent much of her service based at Malta. In 1869–70 she sailed around the world as part of a Flying Squadron. She remained in front-line service until 1874. Endymion then served as a guard ship at Hull, Yorkshire until 1879, latterly with her boilers condemned as unfit for service. A plan to use her as a flagship at Harwich, Essex from 1875 was abandoned due to the loss of HMS Vanguard. During her time at Hull, crew from Endymion assisted the local police in fighting a number of fires in buildings and timber yards. Emdymion was lent to the Metropolitan Asylums Board in 1881 for use as an administration and hospital ship, initially at Greenwich, Kent and later at Dartford. She was sold out of service in 1885, and served as an administration ship until 1904. Endymion was sold in December 1904 and broken up in 1905.

While on holiday he saw a waterfall with water droplets sparkling in the sunshine. It inspired him to design a watch featuring diamonds freely moving between dial, bezel and sapphire crystal. Each diamond is set in a handmade white gold tube. The tube protrudes a few millimetres above the diamond's surface so the smooth edges glide against underside of the watch crystal without scratching. The slightest finger tap on the case causes the diamonds to move; this "tap test" remains the definitive test of authentic "Happy Diamonds".
