A 20th century cittern, having a pear shaped body with fret carved sound hole, the scroll carved with a jester? figure, having nine heart shaped pegs, 63cm, together with one other early 20th century Continental cittern, 62cm and a 20th century hand made model of a Medieval rebec, 67cm. (3)Condition report: Cittern – possible repair to join of jesters head, beginnings of a split to body at soundhole to base, four strings missing.Second cittern – large splits as per original images, repair to tip of headstock.Rebec – bridge off but present, needs re-stringing.
