A Wright & Butler cast iron oil lamp, late 19th century, of vase form with leaf moulded stylised foliate decoration and scroll capped handle and with wrythen moulded tinted shade. Height excluding chimney 55.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The glass chimney has only the slightest of tiny nibbles on its base. The shade has only the very slightest of nibbles on its interior base rim. The glass reservoir is in good order. The fitting for the lamp is polished brass but it is stamped for Wright & Butler, Birmingham. The main body is an oxidised copper but on the high points on one handle the copper has come through and on the top band of the main vase body the copper is showing throughout. There is a very tiny hole half way down the side of one handle but I believe this to be a manufacture fault rather than later damage.

Reproduction Tiffany Style Leaded Glass Lamp And Ceiling Shade Large lamp with ornate blue and green glass base and large Tiffany style shade in blue and green marbled glass with dragonfly and flower detail. Also a cream and amber glass ceiling shade with ruby tone cabouchon decoration. Very good condition.
