A tiny small chip to the top of the bulb shaped glass funnel. Underneath the reservoir where it connects to the brass ferrule there a couple of tiny original cracks at the time of manufacture.

No problems noted with the reservoir, the funnel has a slight chip towards the bottom but not easily seen. The shade is in good order with very minor rim fritting around the bottom circular part which lodges onto the brass support. Very good original condition (in need of a clean).

The reservoir looks OK as does the clear glass liner. No problems noted.
A fine and rare pair of 19th century brass, marble and cranberry glass oil lamps: the crimped-edge etched shades above faceted cranberry glass reservoirs and wrythen stems and dome-topped wrythen circular brass plate upon a ebonised pottery base. (Each approx. 60.5 cm high) Condition Report: In good condition with no problems, glass shade with one or two air bubbles from the manufacturing process and minor fritting commensurate with age and usage (one of the pair, with lot number). The second lamp (without the clear glass funnel) has very minor pinhead-sized chips to the extremities (5 or 6). The reservoir is good as is the shade.

Lighter areas on the column. Large match-head-sized blemish to the middle of the reservoir (caused at the manufacture). Very minor fritting to the circular foot which sits upon the brass support.

The pink glass column has a small surface chip of approx 6-7mm square under the collar of the column. A viewable chip but could be remedied. The funnel and shade are in good order except for very minor fritting.
