A 19th Century brass oil lamp, with a yellow ceramic reservoir on a fluted brass pedestal, a spherical opaque glass shade and clear chimney, 53 cm highThe fount screws off. Overall in good condition with no obvious restoration Dusty and would benefit from a clean. Tarnishing to the metal and some small dents to the sides and base. Ceramic in good condition with some light scratches but no apparent cracks, pitting or restoration. Small chip to base of the glass shade.

A picturesque view of a castle and a lush forest path. Separate, a layered fancy parasol-shaped lamp shade with detailed floral lace overlay. The shade is detailed with soft white braid. Restoration and 2" hairline cracks to base, some damage to shade. Intricate gilt decorations by the artist, Mme. Marie Zelie Guillot (b. 1807), a Paris miniaturist painter. Exhibited at the 1827 Salon de Paris.
