A large brass corinthian column oil lamp, with a coronet top, 70cm high, together with a modern brass table lamp and shade (2)Overall condition looks to be complete, but dirty and tarnished. Has lion masks and ER monogram. Base is not drilled. No shade. Collected from a house clearance, so unrestored.
A Victorian or Edward VII Silver Plate Oil-Lamp, by Mappin and Webb, Circa 1900 on square base with laurel wreath applied sides, the fluted tapering column stem terminating in a Corinthian capital form socket, with cut-glass font, later mounted for electricity and with modern custom lamp shade68cm to top of original mount, 101cm high including shadeMarked on base. The marks are clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the silver plate at the high points. The electric mount fits into the original clip and the cord connects to the top, not through the base. The electrics have been PAT tested. There is some damage to the later electric mounts. The font seems to be intact.
