A 20th century Tiffany style lamp, the glazed shade decorated with dragonflies. Height +/- 46 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp is complete and currently lit in the saleroom. It seems to be in generally very good condition with no major issues. There are some stress fractures to the glass panels but no actual breaks or losses. The base column is in good condition and the on/off switch operates as it should.

The shade is in good condition, we can see no signs of any chips, cracks or restoration. The column and base are again in good order with no signs of any issues.
A Tiffany style standard lamp, the shade decorated with downward facing dragonflies. Overall height +/- 169 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp is in good working order. One of the white glass sections to the shade has two cracks towards the lower end but all the others are in good condition. The base and column are both in good clean order as well.
An early 20th century brass Corinthian column standard lamp, with tasselled shade. Height excluding light fitting 126 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp is in good working order, and we have it illuminated now. The column shows some signs of age-related wear but nothing untoward. A rare ‘D & B’ Glassware as purchased by H.M. Queen Mary, a clear glass lamp base with green glass shade, in original green and white box the lid printed with “D & B” Glassware - As purchased by H.M.Queen Mary and side ‘Sole Agents - C.W. Norris Distributors ltd, Farnworth, Lancs’ —2in. (5cm.) height of lamp - a similar lamp can be seen at the Young V & A’s Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House this house was made in 1887 by a Liverpool firm called Ashcroft who normally specialised in billiard tables. It was made for a Miss Barker. Queen Mary bought it from the Royal School of Needlework where it was in an exhibition. At the time there was no furniture in the house but the Queen had furniture made and supervised all the interior decoration herself. It was given to the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1921.
