A French kingwood, floral marquetry and gilt metal mounted card table of serpentine outline in the Louis XV taste, the baize lined hinged top decorated with a quatrelobe panel of flowers and foliage within a surround of rosewood scrolling foliate designs, having a husk decorated edge, the shaped apron similarly decorated, on cabriole legs headed with female caryatid figures trailing to sabots, 87.5cm (2ft 10 1/2in) wide.
