Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe. Case appears to be in good condition with minor scratches and marks. Crown has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. Bracelet appears to be in a generally good condition, with light scratches and no signs of significant stretching, twisting or distortion of the links. Clasp is currently functioning and appears to be in good condition. Bracelet measures approximately 18cm including case. This lot comes with a box and papers dated . A George II card table The shaped top opening onto baize, the concave front with a single drawer, the cabriole legs with acanthus knees and pad feet. when open the top is 89cm square maximum. Height 74cmVery light wear, scratches commensurate with age. Old repairs, restoration and refinishing. Age crack to the underside but all joints are firm and solid. Images of affected areas online.
An 18th century mahogany card table, the foldover top with gadrooned edge, over a blind fretwork frieze, the cabriole legs with gadrooned border and carved detail conforming to the rest of the Earnshill Suite. Although a further matching tea table might be expected as part of the commission, there is no mention of one in the inventory of 1780, so presumably only one table was ever ordered.91x90x71cmH when extended. 91x45x74cmH when closed.
