A 19th century French red boullework and ebony card table, with serpentine top, width 74cmCONDITION: Overall in bright shiny condition, boullework to the top has been varnished but there are still numerous places where the brassware slightly sticks up, a lot of the red boulle is now missing, similarly so to the panels to the front and sides, ebony work looks to have been re-done at some point, ormolu mounts now with a dull finish but all complete.

The fold over swivel top having a decorative inlaid landscape woodland scene within a circular cartouche flanked by inlaid decoration with central fowers. 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CARD TABLE, the hinged lid revealing a green baize above cylinder pedestal, standing on quatreform base with turned pad feet. 92 x 92 x 76cm approx.(B.P. 21% + VAT) Slightly faded to the top with marks and scratches. Some losses in places but overall in usable condition. Green baize probably a replacement and loss to the veneer on the right hand side of the top of the table.
