A Pair of Early Victorian Rosewood Serpentine Shaped Card Tables, mid 19th century, with hinged lids enclosing velvet lined interiors, C scroll carved supports on cabriole legs with scroll toes and castors, 87cm by 46cm by 74cm Table 1 - restored and polished so cosmetically good. Original? baize interior rather faded. Shaped supports with natural? split/join marks which have been filled and polished. Table 2 - similar. 160615
An early Victorian rosewood card table, the rectangular foldover top opening to reveal a circular baize on pedestal quatrefoil platform base and scroll feet, 89 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Some minor damage and losses to outer edges, some white paint marks top right-hand side, all over scratches and deep impressed marks to top, some splitting to top, cracks and splitting to column, major losses, chips, etc. to base, top is slightly bowed, some losses to red baize, general wear and tear throughout.
