REGENCY MAHOGANY BREAK FRONT FOLD OVER CARD TABLE having baize lined surface, foliate moulded panels to the frieze on a baluster turned and foliate carved pedestal with circular base, four outswept moulded sabre legs with brass cups and casters. 89 x 89x 74cm approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Very dry, lacking patination, will require re-polishing overall.
A 19th century Aesthetic ebonised and amboyna card table by Ogden of Manchester, with folding top enclosing a baize lined interior, on foliate standard end supports, stamped 'H. Ogden Manchester', 72cm H x 97cm W x 49cm D (some attention needed to the top) CONDITION REPORT: The top is watermarked and has paper stuck to the surface. The veneer has cracked and damaged. The water damage continues to the inside edge when the table is folded out. The baize is worn and faded along the centre fold. Base with general age wear patina. The top needs a new nut to the underside to secure the locking bar. Some attention will be needed.
A Kingwood Louis XVI Adam Weisweiler style games table, the brass edged rectangular folding top with stringing and quartered panels centred with a rectangular floral and foliate panel opening to reveal a tool edged playing surface and rotating to reveal a wall with card storage fittings over a brass inlaid frieze with floral marquetry on turned, fluted legs raised on a fancy saltire stretcher applied brass decoration, 76cm high x 65cm wide x 45cm deep (closed)
A George III mahogany double foldover tea and card table, 3rd quarter 18th century, of rectangular form with two frieze drawers above a shaped apron, on fluted and chamfered legs, 83cm by 42cm by 78cm In reasonable unrestored condition. The top leaf smiling slightly left-hand corner. Top some deep scratches and scuffs. The interior leaves different but attractive red colour with further deep scratches. Repair/fault around left-hand hinge. Green baize interior fairly recent therefore reasonable condition. Small veneer losses around the edge of this baize. The drawers are pine lined. Later brasses and previous knob handle marks. Scuffs to legs.
