Early George III mahogany fold-over card table, of 'dog-ear' design, the hinged top enclosing corner candle stands and guinea wells within green baize lining, on four slender cabriole supports headed by carved shell knees and terminating in foliate pad feet with scrolls, possibly Irish, 84.5cm x 40cm x75cm high Condition: Top in generally good condition with minor superficial scratches commensurate with age and use. Interior green baize has been relined but it is now slightly discoloured in places. Losses to some scrolls flanking pad feet. Otherwise sound - **General condition consistent with age

A George II mahogany folding card table, circa 1750, the hinged rectangular top opening to baize inset playing surface, above a plain frieze, on foliate carved tapering cabriole legs, terminating in claw on ball feet, 73cm high, 86cm wide, 43cm deep (when closed) For a remarkably similar example of card table see, Christie's, London, Important English Furniture and Carpets, 24th November 2005, Lot 21 (£7,200). Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old splits and chips. Baize inset playing surface is later replaced. It has the expected wear, some discolouartions and is cut along the line of the fold. Some old veneer repairs to frieze. Sections of loss to veneer at 'teeth' of hinged rear frieze. Some later blocks to underside. Glue reside visible to underside at some of the joins. Old glued split to one foot. One leg with neatly executed and disguised spliced repair. A George III satinwood demi lune turnover top card table, with shell inlay and fanned top, with rosewood banded edge and raised on tapered legs of square section. Width 102 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top is in very good order with no lifting veneers. It is not warped. The rosewood crossbanded edge is in good order all round. The left hand side of the top has a small section of crossbanded veneer which is slightly lifting but there are no losses. The frieze is in good order all round. All legs are in good condition with no issues. The green baize interior is clearly a recent replacement and is in good order. The softwood to the gates has evidence of old long gone woodworm.
A Regency mahogany turnover top card table, with carved beaded edge with baize interior surface raised on four splayed supports and with downswept reeded legs terminating in brass capped castors. Height 76 cm, width 92 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. There is no significant movement at any of the joints. The top is flat. There are no significant scratches or splits to the top surface. The moulded edge is in good condition all round. The baize interior is fairly recent and in good condition. The frieze is in good order all round with no missing beading. The four scroll supports are in generally good condition. One has a fracture just above the scroll. There has been a minor repair here with a peg from behind. There is no movement. The front legs are in good order with no issues. The rear legs have both had old breaks which have been effectively repaired. All castors are present and original. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
An Edwardian foliate marquetry square envelope card table, with single drawer and raised on tapered legs united by a raised shelf. Width 54.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is a little tired generally. All flaps slope slightly downwards and there is some movement at the hinges. The green baize is in poor condition. The veneered surround has stress fractures and veneer losses. The peg that lifts the first flap is missing. The flaps when viewed from above are in generally good order although there has been some shrinkage between the flaps. The frieze is in good condition all round. The drawer runs smoothly. The legs are all a little scuffed and marked. The centre shelf is loose. One stretcher has separated from one leg.

A Sheraton period painted satinwood demilune card table,decorated with trailing convolvulus and wild flowers, a banded border to the top and ebony line inlaid legs, baize-lined and on tapering square legs,100cm wide48cm deep74cm highProvenance: Horton Lodge, Windsor, Berkshire.Condition report: An old and faint hair crack to the right front of the top (17cm), loose banding to the same side of the top. Both rear leg capitals have been repaired at the joint with the hinged support and there are small sections of the ebony border stringing missing from the legs. The table would benefit from a gentle clean.

H.2ft 5in.CONDITION: Made of very heavy old Cuban mahogany, the top has a light brown to reddish tone, is a little faded and shows old marks, stains and scuffs commensurate with use, the underframe is more of a mid to chocolate brown tone, carving is a little shallow and may well be later, otherwise good.

H.2ft 4in.CONDITION: Of good rich dark reddish brown mahogany tone, the back 1.5 inch of the top is of a non matching timber and indicates and old repair, interior with old bright blue baize, upper part of the folding top is carved, the lower part not, minor dents and nicks to the legs. Overall good condition.
