A Dutch oval silver gilt brandy bowl, marks rubbed, Austria - Hungary import mark, the sides with an upper frieze of scrollwork and centred by two foliate scroll framed cartouches enclosing a figure, with a lozenge engraved with a tree, possibly a crest, and that of a lady, flanked by pendant flowers and fruits, having twin mask and leafy scroll cast side handles, on a spreading domed oval foot with embossed foliate borders, 19cm across, 9ozs.
