Each glass is 12cm high and 7cm diameter across the foot. Gilded clear glass stems and feet with ground pontils.

Bottle Measures Into Neck, Seal Is Intact.
WW1 Royal Flying Corps Officers Mess Rum Barrel, superb quality wooden barrel with polished brass bands and tap fitting. To the centre a rectangular brass plaque with finely engraved nine feather Royal Flying Corps pilots wings. Cork stopper to the top of the barrel. Generally very good condition. Often pilots and observers / gunners would have a glass of brandy or other alcoholic beverage before taking flight to calm nerves. This type of item can often be spotted in period images of officers mess rooms etc.
