A George II silver brandy-pan stand and burner/lamp. With a shaped rim, three double-scroll legs with broad scroll feet, and an integral burner reservoir with the maker's mark probably that of John White (though his dates are stated as 1728-1734(?), London 1737, the round wick-holder of a later date probably circa 1768-69, and with indistinct /rubbed marks; the two weigh 409g gross
A Gilt Brass Mounted Two-Handled Coromandel Tantalus, Late 19th Century, fitted with three hob-nail cut glass spirit decanters, with silver wine labels for Whisky, Gin, and Brandy, 13ins x 9ins x 10.5ins high External - back part of lifting cover with circa 6.75ins horizontal shrinkage crack. Top of cover to back right corner shows small area of fill. All gilt metal fittings are present. Key is present. Internally - the holders for glasses have been removed and glasses are absent. Three original glass decanters are present. Two stoppers can be removed, one cannot. Those that can be removed show very slight chipping to their lower part. Bases to all decanters show some scattered small chips. The neck to one of the decanters is badly chipped. All silver labels appear to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration.We are unable to offer in-house shipping for this lot. A group of three 18th century glass decanters, comprising a Bristol green decanter, with gilt painted 'Rum' to the neck, faceted stopper with gilt painted 'R' to top, 8 by 18cm high, 22.5cm including stopper, a Bristol blue three ring decanter, ground pontil, with gilt painted 'Brandy' to the neck, 9 by 20.5cm high, with cork and metal stopper, and a Bristol blue three ring decanter, cut pontil, unadorned, 9 by 18cm high, with a cork and wire stopper inset with mother of pearl and inscribed 'Brandy'.
