Registration - K512 OFM Chassis No. - SW200082290 M.O.T. - July 2024 Odometer - 114,000 Toyota’s MR2 MkII is one of those rare beasts – a ‘mainstream’ model that looks like a sportscar from a premium marque. ‘K512 OFM’ is one such MR2, mildly fettled visually to create an even more striking appearance. This mid-engined coupe is presented in attractive Teal (metallic turquoise), with a black interior, and was imported from Japan in 2006. Since then, it has been worked on with the addition of a Border Racing-style front bumper, TOMS side skirts and rear wing, Enkei Racing Peaks split rim alloy wheels, Phoenix exhaust, and front strut brace. The vendor describes the bodywork as ‘completely solid', with everything other than the engine and transmission regarded as ‘good’. That engine – Toyota’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit – and five-speed gearbox are reckoned ‘excellent’. ‘K512 OFM’ is offered by the vendor with 114,309 miles on the odometer. The original mid-engined two-seater MR2 (it stood for Midship Runabout Two-Seater) was an unexpected offering from Toyota – a manufacturer previously noted for its practical but very conventional family cars. The second generation model was introduced in 1989 and rolled out around the world over the ensuing two years. It was a very different looking car. Gone were the angular lines of the inaugural model to be replaced by softer flowing ones more akin to the Pininfarina-styled Ferrari 348 and F355. The newcomer was larger all over than its predecessor and therefore heavier too – by some 375 pounds. The potential effect on performance was countered by the replacement of the 1.6-litre engine with a 2.0-litre one. In summary: · A mildly modified imported example of Toyota’s MR2 MkII · Equipped with high quality body kit and split rim alloys · Imported from Japan in 2006

Lot 62

Registration - V1 RSX Chassis No. - JMYSNCP9A-000424 M.O.T. - August 2024 Odometer - 50,120 To many eyes, Mitsubishi’s sixth generation Evo was the most dramatic-looking of all, but there is much more to this very smartly-presented example than its macho looks, as it is not only one of the ultra-rare and much sought-after RSX models, but a much modified one at that. Previously the property of Evo specialist CPP Motorsport’s proprietor and subsequently serviced by them, it is finished in Satellite Silver that contrasts perfectly with its black Recaro SR interior. The unique specification includes: forged con rods, Evo IX crankshaft, Evo VIII MR camshaft, larger injectors, Forced Performance White turbo and cast inlet manifold, HKS blow-off valve, uprated intercooler, custom stainless steel exhaust, Tommi Mäkinen strut brace, new Exedy clutch and flywheel, AP Racing 6-pot front brakes and 4-pot rear, and 18 inch Speedline Turini alloy wheels shod with new Michelin Pilot tyres. Courtesy of twin ECU maps, the engine can deliver 450bhp on high boost and an estimated 375 on low boost. The Lancer’s sophisticated Focal sound system features separate tweeters and mid-range speakers, a dedicated Focal amp and separate subwoofer that’s all connected to a double DIN Pioneer Sat/Nav. The vendor, the Evo’s fourth keeper, acquired the Mitsubishi in February 2016 and presently considers the turbo engine, five-speed manual gearbox, bodywork, paintwork and upholstery to all be in ‘excellent’ order, and is selling the car complete with space-saver spare wheel, tools, Ralliart over-mats, full service history (22 stamps), owner’s manual and a large selection of invoices and old MOTs, plus a current certificate valid to August 16, 2024. The Evolution series of Mitsubishi Lancers was in production from 1992 to 2016, during which no less than 10 generations were created. The model achieved rallying immortality thanks to ‘flying Finn’ Tommi Mäkinen, who drove Evos to victory in no less than four consecutive World Rallying Championships, the last of which was achieved aboard an Evo VI. This prompted the creation of a Tommi Mäkinen special edition, of which 4,092 are believed to have been created. However, there was a much rarer version created by Ralliart as a flagship for the UK market. Dubbed the RSX, it was based on the RS model and therefore the perfect basis for competition work. Stiffer than standard, it was also a lot lighter thanks to the absence of Active Yaw Control and ABS, and the inclusion of aluminium bonnet and front wings and a deliberately spartan interior. There were also minor changes to the engine and a quicker steering rack. Just 30 such cars were built – 20 white and 10 silver, of which the sale car is one, and therefore a rare bird. In summary: One of just 30 Ralliart RSX UK-only models A very smartly presented four-keeper 50,118-mile example Features a much-modified 450bhp engine

2010 Bentley Continental GT Supersports Transmission: automaticMileage:22000Unveiled in 2003 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Continental GT was a different animal. The Crewe-built cars numbers were impressive with the twin-turbo, VAG 6.0 litre W12 engines, developed in the VW Phaeton and stillborn W12 sports car, producing 552bhp and 479lb ft torque. This prodigious output was fed through a six-speed automatic box from the new A8 and distributed by the Quattro four-wheel drive system. 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 196mph were significant for a car of this stature.  Some six years later, also in Geneva, Bentley unveiled their new 621bhp Continental Supersports which was indecently quick with 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph, making it the fastest and the most powerful production Bentley ever. With a revised 'Tiptronic' automatic gearbox employing a 'quick-shift' system, gear change times were reduced by 50%. In order to cope with the increased power, it was necessary to have carbon fibre reinforced silicon carbide ceramic disc brakes - the largest and most powerful brakes ever fitted to a production car.As the Supersports evolved Bentley managed to accidentally create a very limited-edition car, the two seat examples were not selling as hoped because at the time most of the Bentley ownership comprised a demographic of drivers who wanted four seats and a softer ride. Enter the SuperSport 'comfort seat' option, a four-seat option that still gave performance, clearly not that of the two-seater but it gave a very clean way for Bentley to exit what appeared to be a fabulous car but not for their then customer demographic, thus leaving those with the full two-seat example with a low production car and now highly desirable. This stunning low mileage Bentley Continental Supersports is a 2010, UK supplied, right hand drive example finished in metallic Onyx Black with Beluga and Newmarket tan leather trim. Presented with a pair of heated, two-piece, carbon fibre sports seats and Breitling analogue clock sitting above the £5,000 uprated NAIM premium satellite navigation by Bentley Bristol. Upgrades by Bentley have not stopped there, originally a Bentley Pangbourne demonstrator car, as many options as possible were specified including a Bentley warrantied and fitted Acropovic exhaust system which was circa £7,000 alone and added between 7-12bhp along with an uprated leather steering wheel. Where rear passengers would normally reside, a carbon fibre cross-brace spans the cabin, generating torsional rigidity, showing the real intent of the 'Supersports', this is a rarity now as many cars were converted by Bentley to four seat cars to help sales. Sitting on 20 alloy wheels, the car is fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes, adjustable suspension and a host of other options making it, effectively, a very luxurious 'Group A Touring Car' for the road with incredible power.Boasting an all-Bentley main dealer history, the latest the larger of the scheduled. Supplied with its driver's manuals, service book, a UK V5C registration document, this fantastically quick car would put a smile on any driver's face. We welcome any inspection of this amazing, showroom condition, Bentley with the W12 cherished plate included in the sale. The car was MOT'd in late 2023 and was serviced in February 2024.Consigned by James Good.

HOLLAND, CHESTER, CIRCA 1805Ther four pillar rack and bell striking movement with anchor escapement regulated by seconds pendulum, the 16 inch circular white painted dial indistinctly signed W. HOLLAND, CHESTER to centre and with Vertically aligned Arabic hour numerals, with pierced steel hands set behind hinged glazed ogee moulded bezel, the case with concave-topped rectangular caddy moulded door over moulded collar and down-curved quarter-round base, the sides with hinged doors set behind the dial, (lacking weights).128cm (50.5ins) high, 47cm (18.5ins) wide, 19cm (7.5ins) deep. William Holland is recorded in Loomes, Brian Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World, Complete 21st Century Edition as working from King Street, Chester 1795-1829.  Condition Report: Movement is in very dirty/dusty neglected condition however appears complete and in original with no visible evidence of alteration or notable replacements. The dial retains original untouched surface which is heavily rubbed/faded but with no significant losses or flaking evident. The movement and dial rest on an old, probably original, seatboard which is wedged tight in the case (probably due to very slight shrinkage in the case) hence the movement cannot be removed without taking the dial off/dismantling. The case is generally in sound original condition. The backboard has vertical splitting and has a loss to the upper edge; a metal brace has been applied form which it can be hung on the wall. The top panel is a replacement and is currently loose (although allows the movement to be viewed). The rounded section at the base has some horizontal shrinkage cracking but no losses to the veneer. The left hand side has cracks above the side door but no losses; both side doors have losses to the applied overlaps to the edges. Faults to the case are otherwise limited to minor bumps, scuffs, light shrinkage and wear commensurate with age and use.Generally a good honest sound untouched example ripe for sensitive restoration, clock has pendulum (no suspension spring), a winder but no weights or case key.  Condition Report Disclaimer
