Immatriculée en Allemagne à la fin de 1987, le Fahrzeugbrief confirme que M. Dolleschel est bien le premier et unique propriétaire. La voiture est dans sa finition d'origine qui est une livrée Slate Grey (gris ardoise) avec un intérieur en drap Brushwood. À la date où nous écrivons, la voiture affiche seulement un peu plus de 64 500 km au compteur et son état peut être décrit comme typique de celui d'une bête de somme. Extérieurement, sa peinture semble affadie d'avoir couché dehors durant toutes ces années et on remarque quelques égratignures et petites bosses. L'intérieur est en accord avec son kilométrage et on ne note aucun signe excessif d'usure. N'ayant pas été utilisée depuis un certain nombre d'années, il serait préférable de prévoir de faire une révision et une remise en route professionnelle du Land Rover, avant qu'il retourne aux nombreuses tâches dont sont capables ces automobiles.1987 LAND ROVER 90 V8 4X4 UTILITY Chassis No. SALLDVBV8AA237732THE MOTORCAR OFFEREDFollowing the launch of the extensively revamped Land Rover 110 in 1983, a similar short-wheelbase version was added to the line-up the following year. Nominally of 90' wheelbase (actually 92.9') the newcomer incorporated all the improvements pioneered on the 'One-Ten', including coil-sprung suspension, one-piece windscreen, five-speed gearboxes and a revised interior, while adding a refinement of its own - wind-up windows - that subsequently featured on the larger model. Engine options were a 2.25-litre petrol four, 2.5-litre diesel four, and the 3.5-litre petrol V8. The latter endowed the 90 with decent performance by Land Rover standards, Motor magazine recording a 0-60mph time of 14.7 seconds and a top speed of 90mph; it was just what the emerging off-road leisure market wanted.When it came to his cars, Manfred Dolleschel remained a passionate Anglophile as much as he was a Francophile! Over the years a number of vintage Bentleys, Rolls-Royce and other British cars shared the stable with the cars offered today, and so it is perhaps not too surprising to find a 'brace' of the utilitarian icons built by Land Rover, a Range Rover, and this '90' from the late 1980s. Registered in Germany in late 1987, the Fahrzeugbrief confirms Mr. Dolleschel to have been the car's original and only owner from new. The car appears to remain in its original finishes which seem to be of Slate Grey paintwork and Brushwood fabric cloth interior. At the time of writing, the car shows just over 64,500 kilometers on its odometer and the condition may best be described as that of a typical 'workhorse'. Externally the paint appears a little flat from being parked outside over the years and there are some chips and 'dings' to the bodywork finish. The interior condition is more in keeping with the mileage and we did not observe any excessive wear to the trim. Not having been used for a number of years now, it would be recommended that the Land Rover be professionally serviced and recommissioned before returning it to the myriad of tasks for which these cars are so capable.For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

The finish has a 'bitumisation' type appearance with a matt cracelure type finish in some areas. There are some losses and replacements including the front feet being replacements; a metal brace behind one front leg; evidence of worm including to the seat rails, back and elsewhere. On 29 September, Werner scored his first goal for Chelsea in a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur which they lost 4-5 on penalties in the fourth round of the EFL Cup. On 17 October, Werner scored his first Premier League goals with a brace and assisted Kai Havertz for the third as Chelsea drew Southampton 3-3 at home. Good condition. Evidence of repair on some tuning pegs and string holder. Some blemishes to underneath body, wear consistant with use/age to body, neck, pegbox and bone inlays.Other Sarangi: No strings plus one missing tuning peg on the fingerboard. Small sections missing from bone inlays. Repairs done including metal brace on corner of body/sound box by string holder. Wear on wood all over and particularly on animal skin resonator.Hole to the stretched skin some damage to one of the pegs.The instrument with the strings skin fitted is tight.

* HMS Amethyst. A rare Telex of congratulations from King George VI, Admiralty, 31 July 1949, for the Commander in Chief, 'Please convey to the Commanding Officer and Ship's Company of HMS Amethyst my hearty congratulations on their daring exploit to rejoin the fleet, the courage, skill and determination shown by all onboard have my highest commendation. Splice the main brace', a little spotting and toning and a few contemporary paper adhesion remains to front and back, 14 x 18cm, matted in a presentation mount with a printed description mounted beneath, overall 44 x 32.5cmFootnote: The Amethyst Incident, or Yangtze Incident, involved the Royal Naval ships HMS Amethyst, HMS Consort, HMS London and HMS Black Swan during the Chinese Civil War in the summer of 1949. HMS Amethyst was ordered up the Yangtze River to act as a guard ship for the British Embassy in Nanjing when it came under fire from the Communist artillery batteries on the northern bank of the river and while attempting to evade the shelling it ran aground. During the incident 17 members of the crew were killed and 10 wounded, including the captain, Lieutenant Commander Bernard Skinner, who later died. Attempts were made by the other ships to re-float Amethyst but were all forced back by intense shellfire. The crew eventually managed to re-float the ship and establish a truce with the local Communist forces but conditions worsened for the crew with extreme heat and a shortage of rations. In early July, Amethyst slipped its anchor under cover of darkness and travelled downstream to Shanghai, negotiating treacherous sandbanks and some artillery fire. Nevertheless Amethyst reached Shanghai and rejoined the British Far East Fleet. The events of this three month ordeal were well covered by the world's press and this Telex is a rare, and possibly unique, survival.
