Matchbox Regular Wheels 2 x 47b Commer Ice Cream Van. (1) "Lyons Maid" - metallic blue body with type A roof & side decals which are a lighter shade of pink/lemon yellow, orange, cream interior with tall man & right hand brace, gloss black clip-fit base, 24-tread black plastic wheels - Excellent with some decal loss in Good Plus clean but creased later period type D3 box; (2) "Lord Neilson" - blue body, white interior with short man & right hand brace, gloss black riveted base, 45-tread black plastic wheels - Near Mint with minor box rub to front bumper silver trim in Good Plus type E3 box. Unboxed models include 2 x 5d London Routemaster Bus - (1) BP Visco-Static labels, without front axle braces; (2) BP Visco-Static decals, with front axle braces; 1e Mercedes LP Covered Truck which is missing plastic canopy & left hand front wheel cast incomplete by the factory (matt paint work has gone "tacky" during storage); 2d Mercedes LP Covered Trailer & 48b Sports Boat & Trailer - red boat with white hull & brass motor, dark blue trailer with raised towing eye, 18-tread black plastic wheels - Excellent to Near Mint unboxed. Lot 7205

Matchbox Regular Wheels 20a ERF Dropside Lorry - factory trial model - dark maroon body with silver trim, Hybrid rear shallow cab brace which is much shorter than the production versions (see extra photo for comparison with production model), metal wheels with crimped axles - Good Plus to Excellent unboxed with some paint chips. Very rare trial body casting produced between the light green initial trial run and the later standard production run, the first we have seen. Our vendor states this was purchased from an ex-Lesney employee many years ago.

Lot 7212

Matchbox King Size K11 DAF Articulated Car Transporter factory Pre-production colour trial - light grey tractor unit with clear windows, without interior fitted, bare metal grille & base which has not been zinc plated, light grey trailer with red rear ramp, red plastic hubs. Model differs from production versions in the following ways: cab glazing held into position by roof stud rather than pressed rivet, trailer upper deck without checker plate raised detail and also has continuous solid centre channels whereas production versions have this centre channel removed around the locating hole areas for the plastic chocks, the hydraulic rams to raise & lower the top deck are a different design with a central connecting bar, underside of top deck also without the three central strengthening braces, also without the ejector rings cast and without model number K11 cast, lower deck trailer casting without the rear triangular cut-outs and also without the raised checker plate detail and also without model number K11 cast to rear uprights, ramp also without raised checker plate decal & without K11 cast and without lower strengthening/location brace and has a different design of raised rectangular block, tractor unit base without raised cast detail, trailer base without cross-brace and has a different metal suspension spring arrangement resulting in a solid central axle channel which was cut away on production versions (see extra photos for details) - Good unboxed. Very interesting pre-production model with a multitude of casting variations. Consigned by ex-Lesney employee.

Matchbox Superfast 7b Hairy Hustler - metallic candy orange body without nose tow slot brace (this is a distinctly different colour to both the light & dark bronze versions of this model), yellow stripe racing number 5 side labels, rare purple windows, chrome interior, gloss black base - Excellent (some wear to left hand label, couple of chips to left hand side of body & factory assembly paint chips to base across both axles) in Good to Good Plus creased "New" type I box with matching model artwork.

A Royal Worcester hand painted porcelain cabinet vase by James Stinton model 923. The vase from the game bird series having a tapered trumpet form with hand painted decoration depicting brace of pheasants in naturalistic settings. Gilded base and rim with the piece being signed Jas Stinton. Makers stamp to underside. No visible major damage. Measures approx. 15.5cm.
