2007 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Transmission: manualMileage:78364The Porsche 911 shape and engineering methodology has not changed much since the very first model, the 1939 Series 64. It has proved reliable and, with the finest designers available, has grown in reputation according to developing trends around it. It has proved itself in motorsport just as it has on the French Riviera. In recent years, Porsche breathed life into a new generation of 911, the 996. 2004 saw the launch of the 997 with improved styling, larger 18” wheels and an increase in power. The 997 C4S was, and still is, widely regarded as the greatest non-turbo version of the 911 with the four-wheel drive system providing the grip that ensured stable handling and predictable cornering. The Carrera offered today is presented with the best possible specification, it benefits from four-wheel drive and is an ‘S’ model with larger 19” wheels, a 3.8 litre engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. Additionally, sports suspension and a sports exhaust are included as standard. Offered with two sets of keys and recently serviced. The extensive options list includes Bose upgraded stereo, satellite navigation and telephone preparation, extended leather including wingback/hardback seats with full heated electric memory functionality, a Sports Chrono Plus package as well as a full black leather interior and Alcantara roof lining. The service history is, importantly, comprehensive with stamps from both main agents and specialists which include the important borescope checks, condensers, heat shields and RMS/IMS maintenance. The terrific performance on offer combined with reliability and build quality narrow down the choice of sports cars on offer to the Porsche 997 and this represents a superb example.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 115

2009 Secma F16 Transmission: manualMileage:5853The Secma F16 is a 1598cc rear engine micro sports car which offers exciting driving on the road or on a track. It was unveiled in 2008 at the Paris Motor Show and is powered by a 1.6 four-cylinder Renault engine that propels it to 60 mph in a mere 5.9 seconds. This little ‘pocket rocket’ is rear-wheel drive and features a five-speed manual transmission which is also sourced from Renault. With its open top (with a hood) it provides the occupants with great open motoring and with its weight distribution being 60/40, it feels more like a Porsche on the road. With its design resembling more like a beech buggy, which it couldn’t be further away from; its unique looks and lively engine make this a wonderful fun run-around.This example is presented in red with black interior and is powered by the aforementioned power plant from Renault. With only a few miles on the clock and limited use, this offers great value sports car driving at a fraction of the price of its more expensive rivals.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 165

1969 Marcos 1600GT Transmission: manualMileage:89131In 1966 the Marcos GT changed from using the expensive Volvo 1800cc unit to more affordable Ford 1500cc and 1600cc ones. The glass fibre bodied Marcos 1800 GT had been a sensation when first shown at the 1964 Racing Car Show. This was to be the design that would become familiar to sports car enthusiasts for more than 30 years, even though the original plywood chassis would later be replaced by a steel chassis and the futuristic scalloped dashboard also vanished after a few years. The plywood chassis was glued together from 386 separate pieces and was not only light and strong, but also required a minimum up front investment to construct. The extremely low Marcos required a nearly supine driving position and fixed seats, mounted lower than the floor of the car. In return, the entire pedal set could be moved fore and aft with a knob on the dashboard.Without a doubt, simply the best 1600GT we have ever seen. The supplied Marcos heritage records and correspondence in the impressive history file shows this beautiful Marcos was first supplied to Franco Paulo Pizzalon Esq. of Mountsorrel, Leicester on Monday 30th December 1968 having been ordered just a couple of months earlier on 5th November 1968. Ordered new in the same colours it still sports of Porsche Orange with black trim, the car was lovingly restored after the vendor acquired the car in 2013. Painted to a high standard, it looks as if the car has been painted much more recently. The interior was also completely retrimmed by Auto Lounge in Buckinghamshire and the car sits on a set of very rare period magnesium Minilites.First registered on 6th January 1969, the car was clearly loved and used a lot. The file shows a record of various maintenance work carried out throughout its early life. At some point between 1972 and 1975 the Ford crossflow unit was swapped for a Lotus Twin cam engine. Indeed, the original advert and the engine’s specification are included in the history file. It shows that the twin cam was built to a high specification with a ported and polished Mk. 2 head, steel main caps, competition bearings, Tufrided crank and flywheel, Powermax pistons and more. A unique period modification which makes perfect sense to the ethos of the Marcos brand. The car truly does present incredibly well and is reported to run and drive just as well. The car is supplied with its UK V5C registration document showing only 3 former keepers -the first two being Mr. Pizzalon and his son and the third, a friend of theirs. The vendor bought the car in 2013 and started the full restoration from there.  The accompanying history file includes the original sales brochure, period Motor Week article, Ford tuning guide, old MoT test certificates and many receipts. A unique example of what must be the best in class of one of the true giant slayers of British 1960’s automotive ingenuity.  Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 234

1989 Porsche 928 GT Transmission: manualMileage:141944Critics immediately recognised the advances inherent in the 928 over the 911 and it was universally praised as one of the greatest GT cars of all time. It handled, it was quick, it looked fantastic, and it was comfortable. With the 928, Porsche created a serious long-distance grand-touring car that could also tackle twisting B roads with ease thanks to super direct steering, fifty-fifty weight distribution and a clever Weissach rear axle that kept the car firmly planted. Many road testers found that their nerve ran out long before the 928’s grip. Porsche continuously developed the 928 throughout its production life, culminating with the launch of the S4 in 1987 which differed slightly from the earlier cars with its smoothed-off front and rear bumpers, larger rear spoiler, more interior equipment, and a five-litre version of the V8 engine developing 316bhp. 1989 saw further development with the launch of the GT model, featuring a more powerful five-litre engine creating 326bhp, but more importantly, the introduction of a five-speed manual gearbox for those who wanted a sportier driving experience. This well-presented example is offered in beautiful Guards Red coachwork and has been maintained to a high standard throughout its life. The vendor reports that the five-litre, 316bhp, engine sounds fantastic when on song while the manual gearbox performs well. Offered with a sizeable history file detailing many old MoT test certificates, sundry invoices, maintenance bills and the current UK V5 registration document. This lovely, rare right hand drive Porsche 928 GT is fitted with the desirable five-speed ‘dog-leg’ manual gearbox and is offered in very good order throughout. It is believed that only 38 right hand drive, manual 928 GTs were supplied to the UK market making this one of the rarest Porsches that any collector or enthusiast could own.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 169

1985 Porsche 911 Turbo to Flatnose specification Transmission: automaticMileage:101939On 29th August 1974, Louise Piëch, daughter of Ferdinand Porsche and the mother of Ferdinand Piëch, got a very special 70th birthday present, a Porsche 911 in silver metallic. What made this car special, not indistinguishable from a normal 911 at first sight, was the badge ‘Carrera’ at the rear. The body was standard and only the rear wing gave a hint at what was special under the body. In the tail was a 3.0 litre engine with a turbo charger. At that time, nobody imagined that the turbo would be what it is today. In 1986, Porsche finally offered the Flatnose, called ‘Flachbau’ in German, straight from the factory. The official designation in the UK was Turbo SE, also sometimes referred to as the Slantnose. Offered as the ultimate 930 Turbo, this model had an upgraded body and a 330bhp engine. Costing nearly double the standard model, the Flatnose was rarely ordered. Before 1986, Porsche had offered the Flatnose body option from its customer service department known as ‘Sonderwünschen’. These were handmade cars, not limited to just the Turbo, but the Carrera and Carrera SC as well. Despite the panels being slightly heavier, they were modelled after the Porsche 935 race car for top speed. The conversion required extended rocker panels, wider rear flares with scooped vents and flip-up headlights up front with functional louvres. This striking Porsche 911 Turbo is believed to be one of the 58 flatnose cars built without pop-up headlights by Porsches ‘Special Wishes’ department. Previously owned by Sheikh Salman Hethlain, the car now forms part of a deceased estate. Presenting well in Grand Prix White with a white leather interior, the looks are enhanced by a factory fitted sunroof. We are informed that this 911 Turbo fired up when requested however, having stood for over three years we believe that the fuel injection system requires attention, the car will require recommissioning to be fully roadworthy. The comprehensive file for this car contains a V5C registration document, previous MoT test certificates and main dealer receipts for servicing works completed. Also present is a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. This realistically estimated 911 Turbo could prove to be a rewarding project and enjoyable investment.

Lot 126

2001 BMW M5 Transmission: manualMileage:160123Just like the Jaguar Mk. II had done in the 1960's, the BMW M5, newly introduced for 1998, effectively reinvented the popular notion of a sports saloon. Jaguar had just introduced an XJR with 365bhp, and Mercedes-Benz's latest E55 produced 350bhp so, after a three-year absence, BMW responded last with an automotive knock-out punch: the E39 M5. Its muscular bodywork concealed a 5.0 litre, DOHC 32 valve, V8 with variable valve timing producing roughly 400bhp and mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Sitting on alloy wheels, daring drivers could sprint from 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds; faster than a Porsche 911, while roaring through the gears with a 7,000rpm redline and a throaty exhaust note blaring through four exhaust tips.Presented in the popular Silverstone blue with black and grey leather trim, this desirable six-speed manual E39 M5 has been with the last vendor since 2013. It benefits from a comprehensive service history, the most recent in August of this year and an MoT test valid until September 2022. With an optional front splitter this collectable E39 is offered at a very attractive estimate; naturally aspirated V8 M5’s are fabulous drivers’ cars and, with prices climbing, viewing is highly recommended.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 209

2005 Ultima GTR Transmission: manualMileage:8551Low mileage exampleOffered with a sizeable history fileProducing circa 450bhpUltima GTR, the fastest accelerating and decelerating supercar of all time and multiple world speed record holder. The exciting Ultima GTR road car is the result of over 20 years of extensive research and development and is a product that takes the Ultima marque to sensational levels of fit, finish and performance. The world renowned GTR really is a supercar in every sense of the word which has officially humbled every last mainstream car on the planet bar none. In 2006, the GTR was crowned as the fastest production car in the world, beating the likes of the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo and McLaren F1 to a plethora of world speed acceleration and deceleration records. In 2007, the GTR was independently timed around the Top Gear test track and was found to be a blistering 6.2 seconds per lap faster than the £450,000 Ferrari Enzo, staggering the onlookers witnessing the remarkable feat!Built in 2005, this GTR is a well-known car to the Ultima community. Showing 8,551 miles it has had just three owners from new, the last owner maintained the car to a very high standard and fitted side and rear cameras, retrimmed the seats, had a ceramic coating of the exhausts and a rear brake caliper overhaul. In addition, the car has had a recent full suspension and corner weighted set up by Blaze Motor Sport. Running a Chevy 350 cui (5.7L) short block engine with a FAST self-tuning fuel injection system, dry sump, Porsche G50 six-speed gearbox, SD Superlock LSD, it has a Dyno read out as of July 2019 at 450bhp, de-tuned on the cams from 600hp to make it more road friendly. Fitted with a new radiator, new rear Toyo tyres, air conditioning and a new battery, the car remains in good overall condition and in excellent running order. It is supplied with a large history file containing much information about the original build and many bills and receipts for parts. Needless to say the performance is ballistic as it weighs in at about 1000kg, the right hand change Porsche gearbox is positive and the handling is immense for those brave enough to push it. The car is on the button and ready to go with an MoT test certificate valid until April 2022, a sizeable history file detailing the works and its UK V5 registration document.Interested parties should note that included in the sale are several valuable spares including: Windscreen, rear cover panel for exhaust, front spoiler (two pieces), rear under tray and rear diffuser.

Lot 258

2000 Porsche Boxster Transmission: manualMileage:39488The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996 and was powered by a 2.5 litre flat, six-cylinder engine. Harm Lagaay's design, inspired by the 356 Speedster and 550 Spyder, stimulated a commercial turnaround for Porsche. Many believe the introduction of the Boxster helped save Porsche from acquisition. It was Porsche's first water-cooled, non-front engine sports car as the Boxster is mid-engine, while in the 911, rear-engine. This layout provided a low centre of gravity, near-perfect weight distribution and good handling. In 2000, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 litre engine and the base model received a more powerful 2.7 litre engine. In 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. Production of the 986 began at the former Porsche 928 facility in Stuttgart, Germany in 1996. The Boxster was Porsche's biggest volume seller from its introduction in 1996 until the company introduced the Cayenne sport utility vehicle in 2003.This lovely example in dark metallic grey with black leather interior is presented in good condition throughout and comes with air conditioning, electric windows and has a valid MoT test certificate which expires October 2022. It is powered by the smooth 2.7 litre engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It also comes with two sets of keys and has had three former keepers.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

Lot 225

1980 Porsche 911 / 930 Turbo with RUF upgrades Transmission: manualMileage:65000In the early 1970's, Porsche had designs on racing a turbocharged version of the 911 and the Porsche 911 Turbo or 930 was born. It was the fastest production car available on the market. Adding this level of power to the already powerful car created a vehicle that was not for the faint hearted. In skilled hands, however, a 930 will show a clean pair of heels to most of its rivals. It was based around the Carrera RS 3.0, the engine from which was modified, courtesy of turbo technology. Initially, power output was 260bhp but from 1978, it was increased to 300bhp by raising the engine capacity to 3.3 litres as is the case in this instance.Appearing to originally sell in Japan, this 3.3 litre model was then re-imported back to Europe in 2019. Needless to say, VAT and duty has been accounted for and a UK V5C and MoT test certificate can be found within the history file. It would also appear that, in 2016, the engine & gearbox was dropped out for an engine rebuild with heads off and pistons and liners refitted with specialists, ‘Autoumbau Porsche’ in Bedfordshire with a total bill of a shade under £10,000. At the same time, correct and period leather seats were installed as well as a decent service, chain tensioners, pipe-work and new sound-deadener. In addition to this mechanically clean bill of health, German specialist, RUF, have supplied a number of upgrades for this car including dials, gearstick and the all-important boost-control. The classic 930 Turbo will always stand out as the 911 to have and the specification here is great.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
