Lot 126

1986 Porsche 928 S2 Transmission: manualMileage:72099The 928 series of top-of-the-line motorcars represented a huge departure for the Stuttgart firm. The emphasis was more on refinement and comfort rather than flat-out performance as illustrated by the 911. Power came from the front through a V8, water-cooled engine displacing a hefty 4.5 litres. The body, styled by Wolfgang Möbius, was mainly galvanized steel, but the doors, front wing, front bumpers, and bonnet were made of aluminium to save weight. Interestingly, the pop-up headlights, for which this model is well-known for were based on another equally famous sportscar, the Lamborghini Miura. The original 928 was upgraded in 1986 most notably with ABS and an engine displacement increase to 4.7 litres transforming power output to 310bhp.Earlier this year, GP Customs spent some time on the interior including the Pasha tombstone seats, armrests, centre console and steering wheel to the tune of over £1,600. The car has been repainted at some point in recent years and the quality is good. Invoices can be found in history folder for additional works stretching back and this clean example will be offered at auction with a fresh MoT test certificate, a light service and the original Porsche owner's pack.

Lot 252

2003 Porsche 911 996 Turbo Transmission: automaticMileage:42424The 996 model is a superb car; quick, reliable, well made and the birth of the water cooled Porsche 911. With a wide range of models on offer the most iconic is, of course, the Turbo. Featuring four-wheel drive and a 3.6 litre intercooled engine, derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning GT-1 car, pushing out 420bhp and hitting 60mph in a whisker over four seconds, this is genuine supercar territory. The 996 was seen as a more relaxed and usable 911; however, in Turbo guise, the driver would get the best of both worlds; a luxury leather interior with every creature comfort combined with the ability to drop the hammer and reach a top speed of a claimed 190 mph. The 996 Turbo was available with either a six-speed manual or a five-speed Tiptronic transmission with revised styling and a wider stance than the naturally aspirated 996 Carreras along with new bi-xenon headlamps. The Turbo also came with Vario Cam Plus as well as stability management - a necessity with over 400bhp under your right foot.Performance can be described as ballistic when behind the wheel of a turbo-charged Porsche. However, due to the modern 911 being such a capable daily driver, mileage on early cars can swiftly reach into six figures, resulting in lower mileage models becoming quite the find for any collector or enthusiast. With just a little over 42,000 miles, our example is presented in metallic Basalt Black with black leather trim and has clearly had a pampered life. The car was first registered on 31st March 2003 and was particularly well specified as per the certificate of authenticity.Running the correct Porsche rated Michelin Pilot Sport tyres this car has been well maintained and regularly serviced. Accompanying the car is a complete history from new, documenting the low mileage and the vendors family ownership for the last 15 years, an MoT test certificate until August 2022 all  found within the comprehensive history file. This is a superb example of an ever appreciating 911 in such fabulous condition that viewing is highly recommended.

Lot 168

1994 Porsche 968 Club Sport Transmission: manualMileage:26900The 968 came directly from the 944 but towards the end of its development, Porsche needed a more modern motorcar with which to present the advances that were coming from the factory at that time. From 1993 through to 1995, Porsche offered a lighter-weight 'Club Sport' version of the 968 designed for enthusiasts seeking increased track performance. Much of the 968's luxury-oriented equipment was removed or taken off the options list; less sound deadening material was used, electrical windows were replaced with crank-driven units, upgraded stereo systems, air conditioning and sunroof were still optional as on the standard coupé and convertible models. Porsche could focus media attention on the Club Sport variants fast road and track abilities. The Club Sport variant achieved a 'Performance Car of the Year' award in 1993 from Performance Car magazine in the UK.This is the car all 968 drivers dream of! This Porsche 968 Club Sport is one of Just 179 UK examples supplied new at Porsche Centre, Mann Island in Liverpool and was first registered on the 29th March 1994. It is presented in Guards Red with black cloth bucket seats and has a tinted sunroof. However, this is not just your normal 968! The previous owner set about upgrading it to create the ultimate Club Sport which he felt Porsche had failed to do! So he had fitted by marque specialist Ninemeister of Warrington, who are independent Porsche tuners, a US sourced ProCharger P1-1SC Supercharger which gives this fabulous sports car 350bhp and also upgraded the discs with Porsche 993 Turbo discs and calipers. A new limited slip differential was fitted and Leda adjustable suspension, making the car very fast and agile. The result is that this car is just as at home on a circuit as it is on the road! However, to increase the scope for circuit tweak ability, it was fitted with a nylon-bushed lightweight Pro Series anti-roll bar kit from Weltmeister in the US. The car comes with a comprehensive service history from new with its original service book, wallet and even has its original Vehicle Identification sticker in one of the books. This really is a 'Wolf in Sheep's Clothing!!'

Lot 242

2004 Porsche 996 Carrera Transmission: automaticMileage:84673The 996 is the internal designation for the 911 model manufactured from 1997 until 2006. It was replaced by the 997 in 2004 but the high-performance Turbo S, GT2 and GT3 variants remained in production until 2006. The 996 had little in common with its predecessor, with the first all new chassis platform since the original 911 and a new water-cooled engine. Technically, it was a major change, a complete breakthrough from the original car other than the overall layout.  At its debut, the 996 featured the most significant change from the classic 911 series: a water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled engine. Progressively stringent emissions and noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and the need for a high-performance four valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other major changes include a completely new platform having a sleeker body with a more raked windshield, and a re-designed interior along with new 'fried egg' shaped headlamps (so called due to the amber coloured turn signals) instead of previous 'bug eye' headlamps. This example is presented in grey metallic with grey leather interior and comes with Tiptronic transmission. The history file contains numerous MoT test certificates, old invoices relating to past servicing and repair work. The car comes with a full-service history with 11 stamps in the book with the last service being carried out at 84,559 miles on 28th July 2021. The car is in good condition and comes with two sets of keys.

Lot 229

1994 Porsche 993 Carrera 2 Transmission: automaticMileage:86100The Porsche 993 was introduced in 1994 as a replacement for the 964 generation of the iconic 911 models and was built until 1998. Regarded by many as the best generation of 911's ever produced from Stuttgart, this car was the last to use the air cooled flat six engine that had powered 911's for the previous thirty years. The 993 was offered in a number of guises and specifications during its production life including two and four-wheel drive trains, known as Carrera and Carrera 4 respectively.Registered new on 23rd May 1994 this wonderful UK supplied example is offered in Iris Blue metallic coachwork over a Marble Grey leather interior. Supplied new with various desirable options including 17-inch Carrera Cup 2 Alloys, sports seats, air conditioning, and an electric sunroof. The coachwork and interior are both in very good order showing little sign of age and the alloy wheels present well shod with a set of matching Michelin tyres. The 993 comes complete with an extensive history including a service book detailing 11 services undertaken by Porsche specialists, the last service of which completed by Nine Excellence Porsche Specialist in January 2022. Also included is a Certificate of Authenticity supplied by Lancaster Cambridge, owners book pack, tool roll and spare wheel, various old MoT records, sundry invoices, the UK registration document, and a valid MoT test certificate. Maintained regardless of cost this wonderful example still displays all its original factory labels! Ready to be enjoyed immediately by its new custodian.

Lot 211

1972 Porsche 911T Transmission: manualMileage:49000The original 911 series is often cited as the most successful competition car ever, especially when its variations are included; namely the powerful 911 derived 935 which won Le Mans as well as other major sports cars races. The original Porsche 911 with its famous and distinctive design was mechanically notable for being rear-engined and air-cooled. Production would run from autumn 1963 until 1989. The 1972 911 series model had the unusual and rare oil filler behind the right side door, with the dry sump oil tank relocated from behind the right rear wheel to the front in an attempt to move the centre of gravity slightly forward for better handling. An extra oil filler flap was located on the rear wing and for this reason it became known as an 'Oil Klapper'.This truly unique and stunning 1972 911T, originally completed on the 1st July 1972, and sold by Porsche Cars, Great Britain in Reading is presented in gleaming silver metallic coachwork with the correct blue Madras chequered trim. A rare 72' external oil filler example, this car has been owned by a fanatical collector who, with originality the key, had this fastidiously restored by one of the very few official Porsche Classic Partners in the UK, exclusively appointed by Porsche Cars Great Britain - Porsche Swindon at an extraordinary cost. Invoices from Porsche alone total over £150,000. This car was originally supplied with optional sports seats, rear wiper and sliding sunroof, and as found on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity is a matching numbers UK market example. When restoring, the owner also gathered many period articles about the 911T which accompanies all of the original sales literature that would have been supplied with the car from new. The engine bay is as impressive as the exterior of the car with all the correct stickers in place, sitting on the correct Fuchs wheels and with excellent shut lines as you would expect. Included with the sale is period registration UCL 5K which is on retention and would be a nice addition to add on classic plates. Timeless engineering and a particular fanatical eye for details makes this one of the best period 911's we have seen. All original and restored by the manufacturer, collectors' examples do not come any better, and with the more relaxed T engine, this is a car ready to be enjoyed and a sure fire investment with someone else having spent the huge outlay on creating 911 perfection.Interested parties should note that this Lot is registered LPL 575W however the vendor is supplying registration UCL 5K which is on retention and can be applied after the sale.

Lot 195

2001 Porsche 911/996 Carrera Transmission: automaticMileage:102000The 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance, four-valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a redesigned interior. The performance characteristics remained superb with reliability at its core. The Targa models now featured a full glass and electronically operated roof. The 996 was another step forward for Porsche, making cars that not only excited their fan base but appealed to those who wanted a comfortable and practical everyday sports car that could sprint to 60mph in a shade over five seconds. This Porsche 996 was delivered new in 2001 to a Mr Doswell in Southampton, who according to the original order supplied in the history paid £61,240. This included PSM, parking sensors and onboard computer as options. With just three previous keepers and presented in Artic Silver Metallic with black leather trim this example has been comprehensively serviced and cared for initially by Porsche Main dealers, with 10 service stamps until 2012 and 88,193 miles. HP Motorsport took on maintenance from 2013 with three further services; the last at 101,314 miles which was a major service and invoices for which can be found in the history file. Works include the important IMS bearing and timing chains replaced. This example also has a new MoT test certificate until April 2023, two sets of keys, a full book pack and tracker, making it a very affordable and desirable 911 with a good history file. When prices rise for 996's (and they will) you could be one of the lucky ones that can say they bought a 911 for under £20,000!

Lot 251

1965 Porsche 356C Transmission: manualMileage:922Introduced in 1948, the Porsche 356 set a new standard for small sports cars and proved adaptable to all forms of motor sport including circuit racing and rallying. In 1951, a works car finished first in the 1100cc class at the Le Mans 24 Hour Race, thus beginning the marque's long and illustrious association with La Sarthe. Porsche subcontracted the cabriolet body construction to several different coachbuilders, the car presented here being the work of its close neighbour and collaborator, Reutter. Development saw the 356's original split windscreen replaced by a one-piece and a Porsche synchromesh gearbox adopted. 1955 marked the arrival of the restyled 356A, the newcomer being readily distinguished by its curved windscreen and 15, down from 16, wheels. Launched in September 1959, the 356B represented significant advances in driveability and comfort over earlier 356 models and is a pleasingly quick way to enjoy the traditional Porsche values of quality, reliability and mechanical robustness. This attractive Porsche was supplied by franchised dealer AFN Porsche of Isleworth in 1965. DVLA records show that the car has had only 2 owners in its 57 year history. The vendor has had this 356 in his possession since September 2003. During his tenure this enthusiast owner has maintained this Porsche well, with the files for the car containing various bills and receipts from Porsche specialists. This right hand drive example started on request and ran smoothly on a recent inspection. Also present is a Porsche certificate of authenticity and a V5 registration document. At some point in its history the colour of this 356 was changed from blue to the silver we see here today. We are also informed that the original engine has been replaced with a 75bhp version. This desirable example is offered to auction with a realistic estimate and should be considered an enjoyable investment opportunity.

Lot 169

1973 Volkswagen GT 'Meyers Manx' Beach Buggy Transmission: manualMileage:1920Starting with the Meyers Manx in the early Sixties the dune buggy craze took off in America. Bruce Meyers' original concept was simple: take a Volkswagen Beetle, throw away the body leaving the floor pan which contained virtually all the components needed to make it run and drive, shorten the wheelbase and install a simple, one-piece fiberglass two-seat body. Meyers named it Manx for its stubby tail with the engine exposed, like the breed of cat. Even the buggy's stance, low at the front and high at the rear, emulated its feline namesake. Bruce F. Meyers, a Californian engineer, artist, boat builder and surfer, produced the Manx at his Fountain Valley, SoCal-based facilities from 1964 through 1971. Used up VW Beetles were abundant in California and the surf culture was at its peak in the Sixties. The dune buggy epitomized the California lifestyle, and as the concept was so simple and so inviting, it spread quickly. The Meyers Manx appeared in several movies, including Elvis Presley films, and the 1968 The Thomas Crown Affair, which contains a lengthy beach driving scene in which Steve McQueen drives a Manx with Faye Dunaway at his side.Registered on 2nd February 1973 this wonderful example looks superb in orange coachwork over a recently retrimmed black interior. Reported to run and drive very well the Manx looks outstanding and sits proudly on a set of original 1972 Porsche Fuchs wheels, as used on the Carrera race cars in period and which are worth circa £6,000 alone! Also fitted with the very rare and powerful VW 1600 GT engine of which very few units were built, this example is a real one off and looks fantastic! The chromework is bright and the paintwork and interior both present very well. Offered with various old MoT test certificates, its current UK registration document, and a current MoT valid until September 2022. Used very sparingly the long-standing owner has only recorded some 1,900 miles in the last 18 years! Recently serviced the Beach buggy sounds glorious when on song. We are sure this powerful and pretty 'Meyers Manx' beach buggy will be a sound purchase and huge amounts of fun in the coming summer months.Interested parties should note that this vehicle is not a Meyers Manx example. It is in fact a Volkswagen Beach Buggy by GP1.

Lot 208

1983 Porsche 911 3.0 'ST inspired' recreation by Riviera Autobody Transmission: manualMileage:956The Porsche 911 ST is one of the rarest 911's, only 24 were built for racing in 1970 and 1971. The 911 ST race cars were successfully raced on circuits around the globe and on Le Mans. This is a very special Porsche 911 built as an ST inspired recreation has only covered 956 miles since its bespoke build by the very well-respected Porsche specialists 'Riviera Autobody'. The quality of workmanship is exceptional, and the list of work carried out is extensive with no expense spared, it has been an absolute labour of love. The handcrafted fully restored bodywork has been painted in custom Mulberry Red with a bespoke Black Nappa leather interior covering the Renn Sport seats, dashboard and door tops. The specification and work carried out is far too much to list here, but the highlights include full Ohlins damper and suspension, Quaife LSD, steel ST arches, Wevo shifter and rear joint, double bubble roof, custom Billet aluminium fuel and oil filler caps, Campagnola ST style wheels, backdated clocks by Julian Reap, custom drilled door handles, GTR Bluetooth AMP, Rockford Fosgate speakers, Cat 6 tracker and Thatcham approved Cat 1 alarm, plumbed in fire extinguisher and much more. The build quality of this stunning car translates superbly on the road; it delivers great performance with an incredible soundtrack and really gets the driving emotions flowing. We are informed that mechanically the car is as good as you would expect, having had a full engine strip and rebuild, with the machine work carried out by Classica Modern with reworked heads, valves and guides, all new bearings, 964 camshafts, full gearbox rebuild, SSI manifolds, vapour blasted, new fuel pump, brake calipers, discs and pads, plus much more. The custom-made exhaust box sounds sensational with a crisp and deep sound. The car indeed is still being run-in but has recently had an engine oil change conducted at a specialist service centre. In the history file is a build sheet from Riviera Autobody. If you are after a unique and exquisite 911 that will get amazing attention wherever it goes, then look no further, it is truly sensational.
