1936 LZ129 HINDENBURG, TEST FLIGHT, 1st TO CARRY MAIL Plain card from 1936 with set of three Winter Olympics and two of the Welfare issue of 1935. Tied with LZ129 posted on board cancels. RMS Titanic Interest - Floor Tiles - one complete and several parts of floor tiles originally made for RMS Titanic but fitted to her sister ship RMS Olympic. The complete tiles were made of four parts, a central 'dot', with a white surround, in a green border and finished with an off-white green frame section. The collection is accompanied by various certificates and letters detailing their history. When scrapped in 1935, many of Olympics fittings were purchased by Smith & Walton paint makers in Haltwhistle for use in their factory. When the factory closed, the remaining fittings were sold at auction. Complete tile measures approx; 9x9" square.

A 1936 Berlin Olympics Football automata wall clock, a/f.Lot description comes from information found on the interweb, apparently a very rare clock. Case in need of restoration, see photos.Spring ok, comes with a pendulum and a key, clock works at the moment but will need lubricating, when pendulum ticks the goalkeeper moves side to side as does the ball and left players leg also moves. Damage to both players legs, paint flaked off wire fittings. Missing bellows and cuckoo is fixed in place. No visible maker's marks. Width 21cm, depth 9.5cm, height 24cm.
