This item was signed by Redgrave and Pinsent shortly after Atlanta, Cracknell's signature was obtained at a reception for Team GB in Oct 2000 and Foster's signatures was added when he captained a side playing at Wembley to commemorate the closing down of England's national stadium Oct 2000. Sir Peter Scott signed collection of 15 75th ann of the arrival of Captain Scotts arrival at the South Pole. Each cover is hand signed by Peter Scott and has a different Arctic scene illustrated in colour. Very attractive items with British Antarctic Territory stamps and postmark. Sir Peter Markham Scott, CH, CBE (Civil), MBE (Military), DSC and Bar, FRS, FZS (14 September 1909 29 August 1989) was a British ornithologist, conservationist, painter, naval officer, broadcaster and sportsman. The only child of Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott, he took an interest in observing and shooting wildfowl at a young age and later took to their breeding. He established the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust in Slimbridge in 1946 and helped found the World Wide Fund for Nature, the logo of which he designed. He was a yachting enthusiast from an early age and took up gliding in mid-life. He was part of the UK team for the 1936 Summer Olympics and won a bronze medal in sailing. He was knighted in 1973 for his work in conservation of wild animals and was also a recipient of the WWF Gold Medal and the J. Paul Getty Prize. Sir Roger Bannister 4 min mile athlete signed 10 x 8 inch b/w running action photo. Sir Roger Gilbert Bannister CH CBE FRCP was an English neurologist and middle distance athlete who ran the first sub 4 minute mile.
