A Victorian mahogany decanter case, the triform box with hinged cover, opening to reveal an electroplate three bottle stand and three cut glass bottles and stoppers 45 x 35½cm (18 x 14in) Provenance: The Lacon baronets of Norfolk and by descent One stopper is damaged. The stand measures 40cm high. The lock has been forced, damaging the case, lock no longer present.
MAPLE AND CO., LONDON DRINKS/BUTLER'S TRAY of hunting/horse design, being raised on four hoof feet with further horse shoe belt buckle and riding crop decoration, housing seven decanters of various size and shape, three having solid silver spirit labels (2 whisky, 1 brandy). 63cm x 42cm approx. CONDITION REPORT: One large decanter stopper is broken and glued. Three decanter labels are silver. Two small decanter stoppers are odd and another is missing. One small decanter is stuck in tray/mount. Tray rail is bent on one side. Number of blank holes suggesting missing mounts/items. Wear to plate in places.
