Sealed green glass onion shaped bottle, the seal for E Herbert 1721, another similar with coat-of-arms seal, both with later silver spouts, London 1897, both 18cm and a Victorian plate mounted green glass decanter, 22cm. (3) CONDITION REPORT: GREEN:- Has it's stopper, seam to sides, scratching to surface, tiny bash to rim of spout, glass appears okay. ONION BOTTLE ONE:- Has stopper, no apparent cracks or major damage, a lot of bubbles to the body and twisting stress marks at neck, the collar and stopper marked, scratching to body surface. ONION BOTTLE TWO:- Collar and stopper marked, fewer stress marks to neck, bubbles to body, has stopper, no apparent cracks or major damage.
A Copeland Spode basket, Art Deco Paragon cup and saucer, Venetian glass candlestick, three pieces of commemorative ware, pewter lidded milk jug, Victorian glass decanter and Japanese pierced octagonal bowl. CONDITION REPORT: Paragon cup and saucer only - Pattern No. 9613A. Both items ring out nicely and have no obvious faults.
Ten cut glass decanters, 18th century and later, (some with faults and losses). Tallest 28.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The squat square decanter with the hollow stopper has a small chip to the stopper but the main body appears to be in good order. Further square body decanter with a part reeded base and band of hobnail cut decoration is in good order. Georgian oval decanter has small nibbles to its foot rim and the stopper is not original. The decanter with reeded body and stepped shoulder is in good order however the stopper is a replacement. The Victorian claret jug is in good order but has no stopper. There is a Georgian jug that has had the lip of the spout ground down. There is a mallet shaped decanter with a part faceted upper body and that is in good order. All of the decanters have issues with either no stopper or chips to the body.
A lacquered trefoil decanter stand, 19th century, with brass mounts and supports housing three spirit decanters with silver whisky labels. Overall height 26 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The three glass decanters are all in good order with no obvious faults. The metalware to the decanter stand may have previously been silver plated but is now brass and tarnished. The three ball feet may be later replacements and are not brass. There are very minor surface splits to the top lacquer and the edges may have been re-lacquered at some point but not recently.

The certificated decanter has engravings of the QE2 with twin anchors and a rearing lion on the stopper. Supplied in the original silk lined blue velvet box and crystal stopper”
