An early 20th century Army and Navy (CSL) oak and brass mounted decanter box and two spirit decanters and stoppers, the blue velvet lined case with brass banding, with Army & Navy C.S.L. Makers label, with two square section decanters and faceted stoppers, 28cm high Condition Report: No key present. Case shows scratches, marks and chips consistent with age and usage, has likely be re-oiled at some point. Decanters are overall in good condition, no obvious cracks, chips or restoration. Some light rubbing and scratches (mostly to the bases and stoppers) consistent with wear.

A 19th century light and dark wood strung and inlaid Mahogany/Walnut cased six bottle Decanter Set, the hinged lid opening to reveal a peach coloured satin lined interior with a set of six gold detailed decanters having ground glasses stoppers and two small stemmed glasses to the lids. Lip to one decanter chipped and some doming to the lid, measuring 11'' wide including handles x 7'' deep x 8 3/8'' high. Two white metal decanter labels present marked 'S' and 'P'.

Y A NAPOLEON III EBONISED, ROSEWOOD AND BRASS MARQUETRY DECANTER BOX BY TAHAN OF PARIS, MID 19TH CENTURY The hinged top, front and sides opening to reveal the cut and engraved glass decanters and small glasses within an ormolu mounted removable tantalus, the lock plate inscribed 'TAHAN PARIS' 27cm high, 34cm wide, 25cm deep (when closed) Provenance: Private Collection, Isle of Wight Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Some old splits and chips. The lower left corner of the front with cracking - see images. Some lifting to inlay in places. Brass inlay with the expected wear and discolourations. Two screws lacking to lock plate. One screw to lock plate is later. No key is present. Lock is fixed in the locked position but can be closed. Some small marks to floor of box from where tantalus has been placed. Four glasses lacking. One of the timber divider between the glasses is loose but present.
