An early 19th century Dutch walnut and floral marquetry inlaid decanter box, the hinged domed cover opening to reveal a single integral glass to the underside of the lid, with partitioned interior containing four matching 19th century glass decanters, each with traces of gilt decoration, the whole raised on brass ball feet, w.17.5cm, d.17.5cm, h.23cm.Gilt to all bottles heavily worn.Otherwise bottles and stoppers are good.Glass good with some gilt wear.Hinges good.Lock working and with key.Colour generally good, some minor repairs to inlay.Both left and right sides with splits.Veneer repair to right hand side.The back the one old shrinkage split.Back feet are replacement.Stands well.
