An early 19th century French Boulle-style cave à liqueur or travelling decanter set - the serpentine rectangular case with double-hinged lifting lid and sides revealing a rosewood veneered interior with ebonised and rosewood lift-out interior tray with gilt brass foliate and fruiting vine handle and floral and foliate scroll glass racks, holding a set of four gilt star decorated cut glass decanters and eight (from an original sixteen) conforming liqueur glasses, on domed brass feet, 34 x 26.25 x 27.5 cm.* Condition: One or two very small losses to the tortoiseshell and a few small spots where the tortoiseshell and brass are lifting slightly.
