Silver plated, pierced three section bottle decanter stand with single handle containing set of three ruby flash cut grape design decanters and stoppers.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: 2 of the stoppers are chipped. Frits/chips to rim of decanters. One of the decanters appears stuck in stand.
Pair 19th century French decanter jugs with overlaid silver gilt neoclassical floral and foliate decoration, engraved monograms, scrolling foliate handles and hinged covers with wreath thumb pieces, on circular pedestal bases with reed and ribbon borders, together with twelve glasses with separate matching silver gilt holders (French guarantee marks and maker's marks) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition of the set is very good. Both decanter jugs are tarnished. Base of one is distorted and does not sit square. Both glass containers are undamaged. Twelve glasses are in good condition, one glass rim is uneven and thin, may be a replacement or repaired at some time. One silver gilt holder has a split in the rim to the left of it's handle. All the frames have signs of minor repair in places, probably during original manufacture
Two silver mounted cut glass decanters One of mallet form, hallmarked Birmingham 1977, maker's mark of Charles S Green & Co., the other a ships decanter en suite, hallmarked Birmingham 1978, maker's mark of Charles S Green & Co.; together with a pair of silver decanter labels, hallmarked Birmingham 1964 and 1966, maker's mark of Charles S Green & Co, inscribed Whiskey and Gin. The decanters 33 cm and 28 cm high respectively. (4) CONDITION REPORTS: Both in good condition.
