Seven decanters (two pairs measuring 23cm and 30cm high) and a carafe, 18th and 19th centuryCondition Report: The two smaller Georgian mallet-shaped decanter is probably 1830s or so. The target stoppers are both damaged although the decanters themselves appear in reasonable condition. The two taller, late 19th century globe and shaft decanters has a damaged stopper on the inside with only the half of the plug actually available, the other stopper is also chipped to the bottom. The first globe and shaft decanter appears in OK condition, the second one (with the poorer stopper) also appears OK. There is one smaller 19th century decanter of squat globular form has some rim fritting (no stopper). Three further decanters - one in Neo Classical-style (later) and sketched and circa 1900 appears OK - the stopper for this does not appear to be original. Two other 19th century decanters with trefoil-shaped tops are in reasonable condition.
A selection of mostly cut glassware to include four decanters (25-29cm) and a pair of candlesticksCondition Report: Target-shape decanter has a badly damaged stopper, the decanter itself is pressed glass and in reasonable condition. A further conical-shaped, hand-cut example is probably late 20th century. The stopper may have been ground down inside, the decanter looks good and bright with no major damage. One further larger decanter with an incorrect thistle stopper - decanter looks 1830/1840s, some clouding to the bottom of the base inside, scratches to the underside. Stopper although incorrect is in good condition and engraved with an upper case italic D to the top. The last decanter with a hob nail design (late 20th century) in good overall condition. The tallest decanter with the 'wrong' stopper is 28cm (inc stopper). The smallest is 23cm (inc stopper).
An early 20th century silver plated decanter and biscuit box stand, box with stag finial and a pair of ring necked sherry decanters and 4 sherry glasses, approximately 55cm wide, 29cm high. Condition Report: glasses and decanters probably associated and with later stoppers, tape residue notably to top of biscuit barrel, rubbing to plated surface from cleaning notably to top of biscuit barrel and to the beaded banding around edges. . some screws missing, apparently unmarked. Glass including a St Louis gilt decorated glass ewer, 26cms high; Baccarat etched decanter (no stopper), 22cms high, plain Baccarat decanter (no stopper), Lorraine decanter (no stopper) and a plain glass water jug (5).
