A late 19th Century Stourbridge clear crystal decanter of shouldered ovoid form with a slender waisted neck and facet stopper joined by a white metal collar with thumb lift action, relief modelled as a putti on foliate scroll, the body engraved with a swan on coronet within a border of anthemeon, height 29cm.

The top having a brass banded edge above a pair of doors to the front opening to reveal a mirrored interior set with three decanters and one glass, having a key with a plaque "Mrs F Salter Palmer, 38 Brokley Rd N.Wembley", 18cm high 17cm wide 17cm deep. *Condition: Good example, general marks and wear, the glass does not appear to be original to the rest, couple of very minor chips to stoppers of decanter, small piece of brass missing, expected tarnishing to glass, some cracks/splist to wood, nice to be a coromandel example, and having a mirrored glass interior is unusual.

A Lalique ‘Highlands’ decanter and stopper, mid 20th century, of ovoid form with flared neck and lobed base, the stopper with central pierced hole, engraved mark to base, 27cm high; with five conforming Lalique ‘Highlands’ glasses, engraved mark to bases, each 11.5cm high (6) CONDITION REPORT:The decanter and glasses all show minor surface wear but no obvious chips or cracks. The decanter stopper shows the odd small chip to the lower edge. All glasses ring when pinged.
An interesting 'Kit Kat Club' glass decanter or carafe, early 18th century, the onion-shaped body point engraved 'THE KIT KAT CLUB at the Fountain Tavern on the Strand', with a slightly domed base and rough pontil, 20.5cm highThe Kit-Kat Club was a lively gathering of politically minded and literary figures in early 18th-century London. The members, staunch supporters of the Whig cause, would discuss politics, literature, and the day's issues.They first met in Shire Lane, just off Fleet Street, at the Trumpet Tavern, an inn run by Christopher Catt. As the group grew in prominence, they moved on to grander locations, including the Fountain Tavern on The Strand (where Simpson’s-in-the-Strand now stands) and later to a purpose-built meeting room at Barn Elms, the residence of their secretary, Jacob Tonson. Notable members include the Dukes of Somerset, Richmond, Grafton, Devonshire, and Marlborough; the Earls of Dorset, Sunderland, Manchester, Wharton, and Kingston; the Earl of Stanhope; Viscount Cobham; Lord Halifax; Sir Robert Walpole and Sir John Vanbrugh; writers Joseph Addison, William Congreve and John Locke, as well as artist Sir Godfrey Kneller. Condition:Good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. However, there are numerous small scratches around the main body and mossing to the base commensurate with age and use. Please see images.
Edwardian silver mounted claret jug, Birmingham 1904, handle damaged, two other claret jugs with silver plated mounts and two decanters,, one with silver mount.Qty: 5Condition report:Edwardian decanter with twisted glass body - handle is very loose and would not bear any weight. The glass remains in good order, although needs a good clean.Both plated claret jugs remain in good condition, both metal and glass aspects. The one with the high scrolled handle has engraved initials to the cover, near the lip.Silver mounted decanter - the stopper feels a little over-sized although does still fit. There are some small chips to the stopper though. The main body and silver mount are good.Glass decanter - good order, no damages.
