A late Victorian oak brass bound tantalus, fitted with three decanters and two compartments, one housing glasses, and with further drawer beneath. Width 36 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Generally good condition. There is a small veneer loss to the front edge of the top roll just to the right of the left hand decanter stopper. There is also a small loss to the rear right hand corner of the plinth and a scuff to the rear left hand corner. Other than this the woodwork is all in good order. All brasswork is original. It is a little dirty and a polish would be beneficial. The decanters are all in generally good order. They are a little dirty. There are very minor chips to the bottoms of each stopper and the odd tiny nibble elsewhere but no significant issues. The three glasses are in good condition. There is nothing in the bottom tray. All mechanisms operate as they should.
