A collection of miscellaneous items all relating to the 1951 Festival of Britain, to include a Festival of Model Flying leaflet with part built model aeroplane, a Marcella Cigars Clubs cigar box, Sylcoto stockings in presentation pack, a moulded peach glass liquer decanter with six matching glasses, a blue tinted glass ashtray, tea caddy spoons, an Ingersoll pocket watch and teapot etc.
19th century French boulle work liqueur cellar, hardwood case with exterior boulle work decoration, rosewood interior with four decanters and fourteen liqueur glasses all with gilt enrichments. Case measures 34cm long, 26cm wide, 28cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Some of the brass edging to the top of the cellar is loose, with some small pieces of tortoise shell missing. Two brass rectangular mounts have fallen off and are there. Family crest engraved to the top of a lion holding a dagger, inscribed 'Robori Prudenita Praestat' (Prudence Excels Strength) Two glasses missing, one wooden glass spacer is loose. Decanter No1 has some slight chips in the collar, one of the glasses is chipped to the corner base.
