SIGNED LETTER FROM BILLY MCNEILLon McNeill's Bar & Lounge headed paper, dated 18/2/00, in response to a fan:'Dear Pat,Many thanks for your letter with the quote from Big Jock. It states exactly what playing for Celtic is about and I have it perminently displayed above the bar. The players during my era felt that the 1%, 2%, 5% or whatever the pride of being a Celtic player gave you when needed was often the difference between winning and losing. Unfortunately it is an asset not too often seen nowadays. Here's hoping that it will not be too long before we see a Celtic team again playing with the pride, passion and commitment necessary for success. Many thanks again and with regard to the picture at Lisbon I already have a copy.Best Wishes,Billy McNeill'
