A gilt-metal and glass table lamp in the Empire style, early 20th century, French, the shade decorated in relief with sphinxes and anthemion motifs, above a spiral column and stepped square base, raised on bracket feet,32cm diameter 61.3cm highCondition ReportThe original hole for wiring has not been used and as such is vacant. The gilt metal base is bent in sections with some sections lifting. At the top of the glass collumn there is a large flat chip and cracking around the upper mount. The shade is detached from the fitting, with the spokes retained on the shade. The shade is misshappen. One Sphynx is missing to the metal mounts on the shade. Please see additional images.

An Edwardian oil lamp. Having a clear glass funnel and frosted glass shade, the Hinks burner is attached to a cut clear glass reservoir set on an oak and brass base. The turned tapered stem is attached to a domed circular base with applied decoration and mounted on four brass scroll feet, 77cm high (including funnel)
