`SHELL ECONOMY` shell-shaped advertising glass shade, height 43cm, width 44cm, depth 13cm approx. Diameter of hole 11.5cm approx. Small lettering underneath and inside reads `HAILWARE BRITISH MADE` and `Property of Shell & BP Ltd. Returnable on Demand`, (damage around base where some glass has cracked and is missing, lettering faded slightly and crack to `E`, otherwise G). Together with a `Gasoline` glass lamp cover, green with white writing. Diameter 34cm (VG). (2)

George Jones oil lamp decorated with briar pattern, fitted with Hinks No.2 burner, together with frosted glass shade and funnel, printed marks to reservoir, late 19th century, overall height including funnel 60cm Condition report: the reservoir and base probably associated as the reservoir has a printed and painted pattern whereas the base is fully hand painted. Minor chips to the foot and of the shade, very minor gilding wear, no other damage or restoration.
