A Pair of Impressive Louis XV Style Marble & Gilded Bronze Table Lamps. The Baluster turned Verde marble bodies mounted with entwined serpent gilt handles and stiff leaves rising from the turned pedestals with acanthus cast embellishments & beading adorning the square plinth bases. Each lamp fitted with a fine pleated silk shade & measuring 36 ins (91 cms) in height.
An Art Deco Alabaster, Bronze & Marble Occasional Lamp with Freidrich Goldscheider stamp to the underside. The lamp having a brown patinated bronze column with alabaster figures of a pierrot & dancer sat embraced on a pedestal bench with painted details to their costumes and raised on an oval grey & brown mottled marble base, 31½ ins (80 cms) overall in height including modern shade.
An Ornate Carved & Gessoed Giltwood Lamp in the baroque style. The electric 'candle' light emanating from a foliate-edged drip tray above a baluster & urn knopped column adorned with leaves & winged cherubs' heads. The scrolling triform base enriched with amorini and terminating on lion paw feet, 41 ins (104 cms) in height including the simulated 'vellum' shade.
A 19th Century Oil Lamp. The globular ceramic oil font hand painted with boughs of fruit blossom on a peach blush ground, with a moulded black glazed terracotta 'Jackfield' plinth and a yellow glass globular shade enriched with vertical strips of rope twist, 23 ins (58 cms) overall in height.
A Group of Three Giltwood Lamp Bases; one having a gilt baluster knopped column with an Italian hexagonal shade decorated with Leonardo da Vinci sketches, measuring 21 ins (53 cms) in height; one silver gilt triangular form column with crested knops bearing swags, foliate bands and mirrored inserts; 33 ins (84 cms) in height. One with a tapering and ringed column rising from a wide fluted pedestal base; 31½ ins (80 cms) in height.
Schneider Le verre Francais-A 1920’s Cameo glass table lamp, the circular swept base rising to a baluster column with metal collar and wrought iron mounts fitted with a bell form shade. The whole cased in a mottled tortoiseshell tinted brown over orange ground and acid cut with large scarab beetles between scale and banded borders, bears engraved "Le verre Francais" signature, height 52cm, S/D.
Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914), an Art Nouveau bronze figural tall table lamp, circa 1900, the semi-nude maiden holding forth the hanging lamp, signed in the maquette 'E. Villanis' and stamped 'Bronze Garanti au Titre, L.V. Depose' and 'A2973', 64.5cm high (the lamp holder and shade replacements)
