A LATE VICTORIAN OIL LAMP with frilled vaseline glass shade, Messengers Patent burner, satin glass (?) body with gilt foliate decoration, and gilt metal base, 58cm high including glass funnel Condition Report : small chip to the vaseline glass shade, right on the rim, otherwise good, a little dusty and some rubbing to the gilding, but an attractive oil lamp Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting (where possible) any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.

A WROUGHT IRON AND COPPER TELESCOPIC LAMP STANDARD converted from an oil lamp stand Condition Report : converted to electricity, but sold to be rewired. The lamp does not rise or fall - which is probably due to the elcricity cable. The shade is not particularly nice (!) A Moore Brothers porcelain oil lamplate 19th centurythe oval porcelain reservoir applied with cactus flowers, above a central tree trunk stem further applied with cactus stalks, surrounded by three cupids making arrows on a tri-form base with Greek key decoration, unmarked, with plain white shade and clear chimney, 64cm overall height, height excluding fittings 32cm(restored)Condition report: Staining to reservoir from use, minor hairline cracks to base. Full restoration with respraying to the lower half of the lamp including all three figures, their forges and the central column. At least two of the figures appear to have been previously broken and reattached. Small cracks to base which have been partly stabilised.

A pair of Masons Mandalay pattern vase form table lamps, each with shade. Height including shade 55 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps are currently lit in the saleroom. The shades are both serviceable but both have some discolouration, possibly caused by damp. The on/off switches operate as they should. The lamp bases are both in very good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The wooden plinth bases are in good order.

A cut glass table lamp with mushroom shaped shade. Height 50 cm, diameter 27 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp is currently lit in the saleroom. The shade does have a significant lower lip inner edge chip. This is +/- 2 cm in width narrowing to 1 cm. As it is on the under and inside edge of the lamp it is not really noticeable. The lamp base itself is in good order with no issues.

A cut glass table lamp with toadstool shaped shade. Height 53 cm, diameter 26 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This lamp is currently lit in the saleroom. The shade is not cracked. It is in generally good condition with only one small top surface scuff to one facet. The lamp base is in good order also with no issues.

A cut glass table lamp with bowl shaped shade, and another with toadstool shaped shade. Tallest 40 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp with the domed shade has been badly broken. There is a large section of the shade that has been completely detached and badly glued in. The lamp with the mushroom shaped top is in good order with no issues. It will however require rewiring.

An Art Deco Gothic style chrome plated table lamp, with milk glass shade. Overall height 86 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The lamp is currently lit in the saleroom. The shade appears to be in good order. We have not removed it from the cradle. The chrome work is in generally good order with only minor tarnishing. The stepped wooden base is in good order. The four ball feet are original and in good condition also.
