A LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY PATINATED BRONZE FIGURAL LAMP modelled as Mercury holding aloft a flaming torch and three branch electric lights with floral glass shades whilst tying his winged sandals with the other hand, pipes and unsheathed sword at his feet on a naturalistic signed base, gilt plaque to the front inscribed "DEPART DE MERCURE, PRIX DE CONCOURS, ECOLE DES BEAUX-ARTS, PARIS" 122cm highIn good condition, the shades have same nibbles around the collars where the screws have tightened, one shade has a small chip (see extra images). The figure is bronze and has no damage.

The later shade with coloured glass lead work depicting dragon flys and leafage, highlighted with cabochons.79cm high The lamp has come from a private vendor in London, he is in his early 90s and has owned the lamp since the 1970s, the shade doesn’t have a signature or manufacture mark but clearly isn’t original as the diameter of the top of the base is larger than the top of the shade. The shade is in good undamaged condition and looks to be finely made.

A 19th century cut crystal oil lamp, with a facet stem and star cut base, with shade, 74cm high overallDirty, but appears to be undamaged. The base is worn with age/use and there are some surface scratches, as expected with age, but no visible damage or repairs. Metal burner is tarnished, but unscrews ok and looks complete. Font and column are made in one piece, so do not detach.
