WALNUT FRAMED CIRCULAR SERVING TRAYwith floral embroidery under glass, 46.5cm diameter, an Art Deco moulded glass vase - converted for use as lamp base, 29.5cm high, a 1950s plastic ceiling light shade with frilly rim, 41cm diameter, and a later circular glass ceiling light shade 49.8cm diameter, with brass rod fitment (4)
A pair of Regency Toleware style table lamps, 20th century, of square tapering form, with gilt geometric cell pattern against a mottled red/black ground, raised on four gilt lion paw feet in turn above a square base. Height excluding shade, 41 cm, with shade 81 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This pair of lamps are of recent manufacture and until recently have resided in a local hotel. Generally throughout both are in good order with no major obvious faults however one does have a small fingernail size section of blistering on the base but this is not instantly obvious and does not particularly detract from the overall appearance. The matching lamp shades are generally in good order but would require cleaning.
A brass and cut glass oil lamp, early 20th century, cut glass shade and reservoir upon an embossed and gadrooned stepped brass base. Height excluding chimney 46 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The glass shade at first appears to be in good order however there is a very tiny slither on the rim which leads to a 1 cm hairline crack. There are very minor nibbles to the inside of the rim otherwise the shade would appear to be in good order. The glass chimney is in good order with no faults. The glass reservoir is in good order with no obvious faults. The metalwork is highly polished and decorative and has no obvious visible major faults, however there is a small fingernail size indent to the foot rim.
A pair of Regency Toleware style table lamps, 20th century, with tapering sides decorated with gilt lyres, ribbons, vases and musical instruments, all against a marbled red ground, raised on four gilt lion paw feet in turn above a square base with running leaf decoration. Height excluding shade 40.5 cm, with shade 76 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps are of recent manufacture i.e. within the last 15 years and have come directly from a good local hotel. One lamp has a small nick to the top right hand corner of the base, a 1 cm scratch to the top right hand side centre left of the base, but otherwise appears to be free from any major issues. Its partner appears to be in good condition throughout with no obvious scratches or faults visible. The shades are in good decorative order.
A Monart attributed green glass table lamp, early 20th century, having a mottled green/turquoise and black ground with brass oil lamp reservoir, now converted to electricity, with original textured and stitched shade, height excluding fittings 30.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The shade is a form of plastic. It has a marbled look which has obviously faded throughout time. There are two large cracks in the shade approximately 12 cm and 16 cm in length. One of the metal support struts is loose from the rim but is still attached to the centre circle. There are tiny nibbles and chips on the interior rim of the glass vase. There are surface patches of what appears to be black spray located throughout the exterior of the body which we assume is part of the decoration but has faded in parts. The gilding on the foot rim is slightly faded. The glass body appears to be free from any cracks or restoration. The diameter at the top of the vase is 13 cm.
