A Victorian oil lamp with cranberry and clear glass ball shade with etched floral decoration with a cranberry stepped glass reservoir terminating on a brass Corinthian column, height 86cm.Condition Report: The shade has some minor chips around the rim, there is a large crack which has been glued back together please see additional images, the chimney appears in fair condition, there are no apparent cracks or chips to the reservoir, the column has some tarnishing, no drill holes.

After Marcel Andre Bouraine (French, 1886 -1948). A French Art Deco bronze and ivory figural lamp, the female dancer standing holding two lanterns upon an arched variegated marble plinth, signed on the plinth, 16cm wide, 15cm deep, 59cm high. Ivory submission reference: BSYWG376***CONDITION REPORT***Main body of the dancer in good original condition with original patination, very slightly oxidised across the top and the back of her hat, ivory is very white, one fine crack running through her face, one hand has come loose where the wrist meets the bronze, both lamp pendants retaining their original finish although it was re-wired by the vendor some years ago, a number of the frosted glass shade fringes now missing, others with small chips, main figure is slightly wobbly along the base which has a matted gilt metal top to the arch, and small nicks and surface scuffing to the base.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
